I worked as a dishwasher here. Lesson learned, I should’ve taken photo evidence. Inproper cleaning techniques with no dishwasher or sprayer, using dark brown to borderline black soapwater and bleach. My first day there I saw multiple condiment dispensing caps that hadn’t been cleaned proplery with sauce still in them, but were put back to use along with the clean caps. There was minimal patience and organization.I was 18, my first kitchen job and was fired bc I refused to put dishes away that weren’t clean, along with miscommunication about the length of lunch break one time. I was told if I had any questions while Jonny and Layal were away, ask the chef. He didn’t know and no one else was at the restaurant.I didn’t think this was a problem as I had worked over 12+ hour shifts and had no issue working later, for various reasons that day a longer break would’ve helped more than more shorter breaks.I was praised one day for being able to clean everything in good time, to being belittled for wanting to thoroughly clean things and having sensitivity to hot water when my hands were shrivelled from being underwater all day.For a place that claims to be finer dining, I’ve seen 3rd world street vendors do better in terms of cleanliness and professionalism.
