This place used to be great when Carm owned it.Purchased a cake for my daughter’s birthday and they didn’t show me the cake, wrapped it up and I thought that was strange.Got home, opened it the next day and it was tilted. They put so much rum in it I could smell the rum the moment we opened the box.So upsetting.Service was horrible when picking up the cake. I stood there waiting and waiting. We wanted to order a DQ ice cream cake to replace it but they were closed.
We got a few different things to try. I personally thought the items we got (cannolis/cheesecake) were good but not great. For the price I believe there are better options out there. The staff were friendly when we walked in and continued to be nice while we ordered and paid.

The cannoli’s are amazing!! Ordered a whole box for work and everyone enjoyed them. The taste was perfect, almost felt like they came straight from Italy ! Keep up the good work

Customer service is absolutely ignorant. Very snooty women work here.. our cake was actually dry and tasteless. The ignorant customer service and taste of the cake are the reasons we will not be returning. There is a lot of competition out there. You definitely need to step up your game "La Bakeri". Work on your piping skills as well. The writing looked terrible!? I wish I had seen the cake prior to picking it up. I would've cancelled the order and went elsewhere

First and last time customer. Walked in to pick up an online order and said a friendly "hello, how are you?" to the person behind the counter. They did not reply. I said I had an online order to pick up and gave my name. No acknowledgment, they just turned around and went to the large refrigerator beyond the doorway and then slid the box toward me on the counter. I asked if they were the cannoli I ordered and all they said was, "yup."With so much competition out there, you would think staff would be cordial and polite and speak to the customers when they come in. Thank you for saving me a trip back to La Bakeri.Sad thing is, I am leaving this review without trying the product, which looks great.

We experienced friendly and efficient service. Ordered the large desert tray for a gathering. The deserts were heavenly, flavourful but not too sweet. Terrific assortment, beautifully presented and the selections were enjoyed by all of our guests.
