I was extremely excited to try their tacos, as i saw a 4.6 review when i looked it up. I ordered 4 chicken tacos for myself and a friend and waited 20 minutes. when we finally opened them up to try we were shocked to discover plain, cold chicken with NO flavour or moisture in them in wet, soggy, cold taco topped with fresh cilantro (the only fresh thing about them). The chicken seemed to have been taken out of the fridge, already cooked. No salt. no pepper. no pico de gallo. no onions. Again, NO FLAVOUR. and dry. we couldn’t even finish one.I was so embarrassed that I had picked this place for lunch that I attempted to make up for it by picking up tacos at the Jackson Square Farmer’s market, which did not disappoint.Will not be returning to La Bodeguita.

My wife favorite store to get Mexican food especially the butcher that prepares fresh meats for Pastor, Chorizo and Cecina. They also have Queso Oaxaca (cheese) which is very difficult to find here.
Good selection of Latin products. The chicharrones are really good perfect for tacos, and empanadas delicious. Usually I find space to park in the front. Is not really a restaurant is more a supermarket with butcher shop too.

First time stopping here ... I picked up an order of enchiladas and a piece of chicharron.I enjoyed both items... but I must admit the salsa with the enchiladas had a different taste to it... I can't quite figure out the taste but I almost want to say it was like a BBQ sauce...It was good, just different!Sorry, there is no picture of the chicharron... I ate it before getting home and taking a picture. ?

Absolutely amazing place, friendly staff environment and all around fun when you go , it's an everything in one store , ? been going here for years now and I haven't been disappointed yet , between cuts in meat , the welcome, and trying new things, my daughter has austim and she loves going here especially when the owner teaches her some Spanish well we wait witch is never long , maybe 15 mins max on a busy day, you can customize your meat order to things you want you can add more or less , it's a very good time music makes you feel like you went away without paying for a vacation, can't wait to go back and to try something else soon !! Always a great time and fun family adventure
