Decent meal. Atmosphere is sparse and there was no A/C so it got kinda hot. Food was well done and tasty and priced about right. Bit of a strange location but dont let that scare you away. All in all would recommend.

AMAZING FOOD AND EXCELLENT SERVICE! The homemade Cappeletti is delicious! Every dish had fresh ingredients and was served hot. Complements to the chef and waitstaff for making our experience so enjoyable. This is definitely one of the best restaurants in this city.

Mark just catered our wedding on May 27th 2023. Mark was quick to respond to emails and very helpful and easy to work with. He was very accommodating when I kept needing to change my number count. The food was amazing we got so many guests coming up to tell us how good the food was. The pricing was amazing and it fed all of my guests easily with leftovers to take home. I cant recommend this place enough. Thank you Mark & team!

We thoroughly enjoyed the dining experience at La Piazza Allegra. It wasn't crowded or noisy. Our waitress was wonderful. She was very attentive from start to finish. I had a chicken parmigiana dish, one of the best I've had for years. Everyone else agreed they loved their food order.

Came from out of town for a soccer tournament, and decided to try out this restaurant since it was close to our hotel. The owner personally greeted us at the door. He was very welcoming, hilarious and clearly cared about the well-being of his customers. Our waiter (the owner’s grandson) was very friendly and accommodated all of our needs. The food was incredible!!! I highly recommended the cappelletti. Everyone else at the table also loved what they ordered. Overall 10/10 experience, and I’ll for sure come back the next time I’m in Hamilton.

we lucked out . with no reservations they accommodated us very nicely . the restaurant was busy but we weren’t overlooked at all for being last minute and unexpected . staff was very friendly . menu was great . authentic italian . fresh cooked meals . our party of 6 left full and enjoyed the relaxed vibe of this downtown hamilton restaurant . we will be back (and will make a reservation next time) thanks for a great night

My family celebrated my Mother’s Retirement here this past weekend. It was easy to book a reservation for a group of 8 through email. Our server Sarah was welcoming and helpful. She shared recommendations and checked in on us frequently! We enjoyed some lovely appetizers and delicious pasta dishes. Great portions, almost all of us brought some leftovers home.- Bruschetta Tartufo- Proscuitto & Burrata: super delicious!! The combination of toppings and salad dressing was very good!- Calamari x2: lightly deep fried and delicious- Fettuccine Allegra- Cappelletti- Frutti Di Mare- Linguine alle vongole- CarbonaraThis was our first time here and it was a great experience. We highly recommend this spot!

Where to start. Food, fantastic. Hospitality, fantastic. Vibes, immaculate. Went here to celebrate my fathers 50th birthday, and will be looking for any excuse to return asap. Truly a slice of Italy right here in the city. Just good, authentic Italian cuisine. Doesn’t get too cute with it and definitely does not cut corners. If there were more stars to give it I would.

We had a meal here on New Year's Eve, and they were very accommodating, the atmosphere was great. The Caesar salad was good, large portions. The Fettuccini Allegra, had no sauce, I was expecting a more creamy sauce with the traditional fettuccini noodles not mafaldine pasta which I found overwhelming and heavy. The carbonara used this same pasta which a finer pasta would be more authentic.
