Had a really great time at Merit on a busy Saturday. Love the communal seating and brewery atmosphere. Lots of selection on tap. We came from Toronto on our way to family’s place to check this place out from a recommendation from the WrenKid-friendliness: They had colouring pages for our daughter, and a kids menu that didn’t suck. Was actually very kid friendly and wouldn’t hesitate to bring her again.

I love how family friendly Merit is considering it’s a brewery! There was lots of other kids, they had food offerings and colouring pages for kids and the big communal tables make for a laid back environment. I don’t drink beer but my husband enjoyed it! My son spilled a cup of water and the staff were so kind and understanding. Really enjoyed the vibe here!Kid-friendliness: Kids menu, colouring pages, juice boxes

Never disappointing, and always an upbeat positive vibe.I'm in a bit of a rut with Merit brews - only Waves and always Waves (but I do love both versions).My partner branches out more, and she had Young Rival. Best brewery in town. There's always something new to try and the staff are so friendly. Great place to stop in for a pint, or bring a large group and stay all night.Go to their Dead of Winter dinner if you can. It's a really nice time and you get to see the staff share their passion in a whole other way.
