It was a great little restaurant.Food tasted very fresh and was quick to arrive at the table.This a great place to sit and order multiple items and share amongst the table.The wife and I went on a Sunday afternoon and is was a great experience.We sat and enjoyed our food and conversation with little distributions from the staff all will giving us great service.We will definitely stop in here again.Thanks for the great food and hospitality.Parking: There is a small parking lot behind the restaurant that enter on laneway on the east side of building.
Went here all throughout my college days and always pop by when I’m in Hamilton. Easily best and most affordable Chinese food in this city. Highly recommend their house fried rice and their hot and sour soup!

Great dishes, the portions were good! The lamb with cumin was my favourite dish, the lamb was soft and flavourful. The dishes we got were very comforting. Feels like home cooked food!

I love Mr. Gao especially, for their yu xiang rou si with rice (Julienne pork on the menu, I believe), but I was shocked and disappointed to see this metal piece in my food today before I even began eating. The server apologized, took it back, and asked the kitchen to remake one for me. I received a can of iced tea as compensation with no discount on my meal, which seemed like the absolute bare minimum to me. I hadn’t asked for a drink, and the server did not ask me if I’d like iced tea, he just told me I get a free drink and walked away (although he was friendly).I really do enjoy the delicious and reasonably priced food here, but I am just genuinely concerned about safety after today.
Best Chinese in Hamilton, and potentially some of the best food in town, overall. A real sleeper.

The dishes were so delicious we went two Sundays in a row. Service was fast and thorough. They had the robot server sing happy birthday when they noticed we were doing a birthday celebration, which was very sweet!

A fast and efficient business model with online ordering, nice student waitresses who deliver food to you, and clean environment. There’s always Mac students there, which I love! It’s right next to a trail which is really nice if you want to take an after dinner walk or something. Some of the food is really quite oily and can make you feel a little sick afterwards—so make sure you read the reviews!! The Dumplings will always be a safe bet!!! :)
