Last time the burgers were great! At my current visit, my burger was cold when it arrived at the table and the cheese was no longer melted. My fries were too dark and were soggy; other tables had crispy fries (by the time I realized it was only my batch that was off, there was no point asking for a replacement batch). Not sure if we'll be back for food.

Good campus pub. Trivia nights are awesome. Draughts aren't bad. Menu is... let's just say you would never go there for the food. Phoenix is it's atmosphere - and it's a grand one!Edit: there's a new wait staff member that works there that mutters curses under her breath and looks angry all the time to everyone she serves. She should get out of the hospitality business ASAP.

Nice large patio. Very scenic. Indoors is cool and lots of space. In Refectory building so architecture is unique. Decent menu.

A great spot to grab dinner and drinks when you’re in the west hamilton area!! Both service and food were great - would definitely recommend the ‘Santa fe salad’ or the ‘Hammer burger’!Plenty of space with a fantastic patio! 10/10 would recommend

Huge outdoor patio, beautifully set upon Cootes Paradise. Great music. Good for large parties. Large line up of craft beers, and better alcohol prices than most place in Hamilton. New kid's menu. Trivia Tuesdays, Wednesday Karaoke, and a board game shelf to choose from. Portions have become smaller (especially the size of the burgers) and the prices, like everywhere else, have gone up. Food is always decent and service is usually great, especially if you're a regular.

Cozy and warm place... delicious food. We had a great time there. The only minor issue was the rush from the staff to get the order. First, we realized that the kitchen would be closed in any minute! But after we ordered the kitchen was still open...then we were informed that the place would be closed sooner than normal. Nevertheless, the staff were great and had warm behavior.
