The food is fantastic, the staff is very honest and knowledgeable, they're also very friendly. If you're looking to try some Asian cuisine for the first time or looking for something better give South Sea Restaurant a try.

Very nice food. Everything we ordered was made with decent ingredients and tasted authentic. We were recommended to try here and it didn't disappoint. The only challenge was the crispy tofu. Which by the time we got home wasn't crispy due to the container. There needs to be holes in the lids.

This place is by far the worst Chinese restaurant I have ever been to I ordered the combo 5 for one the other day and the lemon chicken looked like fish I wasn't sure what it was until I inspected it. The dish had absolutely no flavor they said chicken fired rice it was only fried rice just all around bad place do not come here

excellent food -price-service!!!!!! always the same quality.....Tried a place up at Rymal rd. and Nebo in the strip plaza by Longo's because we live at Mud and Winterberry and wanted to support local.It was good for awhile, but shortly after covid started the food went right down hill so now we prefer to go back to South Seas and drive down to Ottawa St. it never disappoints!!!!!!!
Excellent food, hot and fresh. Arrived 35 minutes after ordering. My new go to for Chinese food.

My family has dealt with South Sea for at least 30 years!It must have changed ownership because the food is no longer the same quality at all.We made an $85 delivery order about 2 months ago and it was an absolutely horrible experience.Our food arrived around 2 and a half hours later and the sauce from the general chicken had leaked all thru the rest of the order along with the gravy for the egg foo Yung, the chicken balls and breaded shrimp were ruined!Thankfully the rice and Cantonese chow mean were in plastic containers.We called about the order and wanted food exchanged but told to late and would give a credit for shrimp,general chicken and egg foo Yung and chicken balls for our next order.Well considering our last experience it took 2 months to order again but we did and were given a hard time about credit!Gave us a breaded shrimp and general chicken free but also ordered almost $50 moreWaited less time but food was worse than horrible!!!Never again!

The food has gone downhill. I ordered mushroom egg foo young with gravy and got shrimp egg foo young. I wanted gravy with it and it didn't come with it, they said it was poured on top of it but I couldn't see it. It was also supposed to come with egg rolls and I never received them. The kitchen soup was horrible and flavorless, it seemed to be watered down. The wontons had no flavor at all and the broccoli tasted very old. When I explained to the women what was wrong she made excuses for it and said she couldn't believe they made had made the order with so many mistakes in it and made it sound like I was lying. I ended up just saying good bye and not expecting anything. I don't think anything would have made this experience better.
