Loved loved loved this restaurant!! On trendy Locke St. In Hamilton, ON there are so many cool restaurants to choose from. You won’t go wrong choosing Souvlocke, voted best Greek restaurant in the city. Everything was cooked perfectly! Staff were very responsive and courteous. Some slightly different takes on traditional Greek fare. A must visit for any Foodie!

I ordered greens horta and rice, for my Indian tongue they were blunt in taste but over all ambience and taste was good. Cooked perfectly.

What a dinner! What matters most to us is when a restaurant uses fresh ingredients…. Souvlocke does this and it makes it that much more impressive! Thanks to our servers as well! Dali and Sam made the experience that much better.

Absolutely terrible! Uncooked pork, dry chicken and rice, missing items, cold food and when I called about the issues hoping they would just fix them and that would be that I was told that the food probably wasn't good because there was a festival going on. I asked to speak to a manager and I was told the cook would call me back the next day. 93.00 for two meals that we couldn't even eat. Terrible food and Terrible service. Would never recommend.
Ambience and food are great! Also DOG-FRIENDLY! My boyfriend and I were taken to the back where the patio opens up and more tables are available. At night it must look great because we saw the overhanging lights. Unfortunately, I did find a hair in my salad but the waitress took too long to check up on us so I just ate around the hair because I was so hungry. I was shocked the staff didn’t offer anything to make up for this other than a “I’ll bring this up to the kitchen” and that was that. It also took a pretty long time to receive our food which was disappointing. In conclusion, great food and atmosphere, service was mediocre.

This is not your typical Souvlaki joint! Go and experience some of the best Greek food you will ever experience. The cooking is light and contemporary in style and presentation, but deep in traditional flavours. The cocktails, using imported Greek liqueurs, have a kick, but are very refreshing. This is a quality establishment, run by seasoned, passionate professionals.

Still in lockdown for covid-19 so visited for first time for take out only for my birthday. Very happy with the quality of the food and the interior had a very pleasing appearance. Look forward to visiting when covid restrictions have ended.

The food was absolutely delicious and full of flavour. The staff were so polite, kind, and made an extra effort for you to have a good time. There were plenty of menu options including great vegetarian and vegan dishes. Also their ouzo cocktail was amazing. And the back patio was very spacious and cute. Would go back in a heartbeat. Than you for a great time.

It was nice to go to a patio this weekend, as this was the first weekend patios open up in Ontario since the lockdown. I have always wanted to try Souvlocke ever since it opened up, finally I got the chance. I sat in the backyard patio. I ordered the calamari(unbreaded) as my appetizer to start. I was hesitant to try the calamari at first because I prefer to have breaded calamari. The calamari ended up tasting very good and had a nice hint of garlic flavouring in the sauce. For my main course, I had the chicken souvlaki dinner which came with mushroom styled rice, side salad and tzatziki. Overall the chicken tasted very moist and fresh. Both dishes tasted great and would most likely come back again in the future.
