I think perhaps my experience was influenced by how busy the restaurant was and likely would be higher if it wasn’t so. The waitress was friendly and helpful. We had the “Bang Bang Shrimp,” which was amazing (I read previous reviews) and will come back just for this delicious bite. However, I was less impressed with our main courses and the fact that our appetizer plates came out dirty. Hubby had the strip loin steak and I the steak salad. I asked for medium rare and said I enjoy a juicy steak, even a little jus…I found the salad was nothing special and my steak was chewy, had no juice and lacked flavour. Overall happy to be out for date night and satisfied the appetizer was a decent size to share and tasted great. Hope the waitress enjoyed our $30 tip, which was a miscommunication between hubby and I because we always tip, but expect a certain level of satisfaction overall.

Place was popping on a Friday after work. Our server, Ethan (i think that was his name) was on point! We informed him that we had to be out by a certain time, and he was so accommodating. Food was delicious. Everyone loved their meals. The place is a well-oiled machine.

My very good friend and I love to go to different restaurants. We decided on State and Main in Hamilton. We’re happy we did. The food is delicious, the restaurant is huge, beautifully decorated, comfortable seating (we chose a booth), prices are good, lots of free parking. Wait staff is excellent, very attentive and personable. Case in point Kelsey!! She’s amazing and a great asset to your restaurant. She’s super nice, knowledgeable, attentive and a sweetheart. Thanks Kelsey!!!!!!!!My very good friend and I had the Royal Bangkok Noodle Bowl: shrimp, veggies, egg, basil, rice noodles, peanuts, toasted coconut, crispy garlic, cilantro, green onion, spiced lemongrass chili & garlic sauce. Absolutely delicious…????? ❤️❤️. We got full so we brought some home.I had a Spicy Honey Margarita. It was good, never had one before. It had a togorashi rim but it was on the side of the class not on the rim. I asked Kelsey, she said some people have complained but that’s the way the company likes it. No big deal the Margarita was good.Definitely recommend 10/10!!!!!

A nonverbal, less the interested host was barely counterbalanced by a pleasant server. And we were sat by the door when better tables were available. Otherwise, it was fine. The food came quickly and was tasty.
