Pathetic service. They will serve you if they find time to get off the phone! The lady at the reception was on call the whole time and we waited for 10 minutes and she didn’t have basic decency to address our presence- we had to get out of the restaurant to save further wastage of time.

Such a big and growing market and there is literally ZERO Portuguese restaurants here. No competition for you from other Portuguese restaurants as you would be the only one. Food was decent but didn't really stand out, would be a 4/5 overall rating except that when we asked for water we were brought and charged for an upscale bottle of water.If you're going to charge people for water in Canada you really have to let them know in advance - this is *not* the expectation. I wanted tap water. Very annoying.

Recently celebrated a birthday this past weekend at Toma La. The server was amazing, She was patient, knowledgeable, fast and efficient. The food was fabulous. Everyone loved their order. They are kid friendly. The atmosphere was relaxed and pretty. To top it off the cake my husband had brought was displayed on a wooden board with additional fruits and different cake slices and beautiful décor. They exceeded my expectations.
