We used to order birthday cakes for our daughter, and they were always delicious and everyone loved them. We have also been buying cookies and pies here.Unfortunately, however, the shortbread cookies I purchased recently (It was the batch sold in the afternoon of Mar. 19th, 2024, if it helps.) were not worth the money at all. It looks like no one is doing quality control any more. Plain ones were thin and super hard; Skor-flavoured ones were like unbaked cookie dough. What happened?? I am an admittedly untalented baker, and they were like something that I would have made myself. (i.e. I would not dare to sell them. )If I get a response from the owner acknowledging the issue, I will gladly take down this review, and go back to give their shortbread cookies another try.P.S. In terms of service, it really depends on who serves you. Some teenagers (or young adults?) who work there are smiley and friendly, and others are not.

This is my first time ordering from Weils Bakery.I had asked for a lemon raspberry cake with butter cream icing for my moms 60th birthday.It was delicious! The batter was fluffy and lemony. This has to be the best cake I’ve ever had from a bakery. I will definitely be coming back

Love this neighbourhood bakery! The seasonal decorated sugar cookies, peanut butter, and ginger cookies are my kids’ favourites. Other favourites are danishes, chocolate chunk banana bread, and cinnamon buns. Go early because they do sell out through the day, especially in weekends.

The gingerbread cookies and rum balls are so gooooood and scrumptious. Gonna have to come back for more rum balls because they’re unreal. I ate it too fast to even take a picture.
It’s sooo sad here sometime. I love the eclairs and lemon squares but their products are super inconsistent. One day it’s good the next day it’s horrible, you guys need to try your products before serving them to paying customers. The lemon curd is delicious when it’s made properly but disgusting and not edible when not. I once threw out a whole lemon meringue pie because my guests literally spat it out.

Extremely disappointed with this establishment. I had heard that the baked goods were worthy of the drive…. I found the breads to be overpriced and dense. The pastries, 2 croissants were disappointing, didn’t even look like a croissant, dry, not flaky and void of flavour. Staff was friendly, so that is something.

Whenever I am in Westdale, I go to Weil's Bakery. I like the selection, the staff are always friendly and the prices are reasonable. Their chocolate buns, cinnamon buns, and breads are some of my favourites. Also! Their cupcakes, they are not fancy and always fresh.
