“My partner and I did the Valentine’s Day set menu and I can’t express how impressed we were. It was so delicious and felt like fine dining but was so affordable. The atmosphere was so cute and intimate it was the perfect way to spend our Valentine’s. I have been for over a number of times over the years as well and love the baked good. I will say, I miss the coconut and tahini lattes soooo much. They were so good and really set the cafe apart from the rest downtown.“
“The portions are great here. Everything was cooked fresh and was delicious. The Greek salad was great and I liked the olive oil dressing. The meat was large pieces and well marinated, tasty and juicy. The Taziki was very fresh and tasty. The owner was very nice and she gave me a pop when I asked for something green for st. Patrick's. Overall worth every penny and will be returning!“

“Nice atmosphere, with lovely outdoor seating on the second level for a cocktail. Our server, Lesley was phenomenal and the staff was welcoming and friendly. Drinks were very flavourful and the selection was different and vast. Try the Rhubarb Sour! Plating was outstanding, the food was served nice and hot…everything was so fresh! Portion sizes were healthy, so much so that we didn’t have room for dessert! We drove from Guelph and will definitely highly recommend this fabulous restaurant! Will be back in the very near future. “Charming Bistro, with warm atmosphere, great food and friendly service. I had the pasta special of the day, Mushroom Ravioli. It was fabulous. Rich puréed mushroom sauce with chorizo and delicious mushroom filled ravioli. Waldorf salad looked (and tasted) great, and fabulous dessert menu. Nice wine list. Reservations recommended as it’s busy - no wonder!“

“Wonderful food!! Went with friends and 2 young kids. The kids, unaccustomed to Indian food, enjoyed the chicken pakora. The adults enjoyed biryanis, chicken tikka masala, butter chicken and chicken korma. The food was so fresh and delicious.“

“Authentic Italian food is well presented by professional servers. The reason I took a star is that the gnocchi has a curious, strong flavour I believe to be a smoked pepper. This should be included in the description, as it is the predominant flavor of the dish. My wife certainly would not have ordered it had she known there was a smoky flavour. “Beautiful restaurant. Awesome food. Flavor is spot on. Ribeye medium rare cooked perfectly. Great chimichurri sauce! Brussel sprouts side is very tasty. Truffle mashed unfortunately had no truffle flavor at all. Grilled calamari was cooked well and good flavoring on the sauces. Music is abit too loud we could barely hear the waiter and the choice of music don’t really suit the ambiance of the place (it went from dance to hip hop and then country music anything but dinner music) Service was great. Portion size was good.“

I ordered the Prosciutto Panini from the brunch menu and it was very filling and delicious!The staff were friendly and the restaurant wasn’t too busy for a Saturday.There’s no parking lot for this restaurant so expect to walk a bit either from street parking or a public lot nearby.“
