“Overall a good sushi spot in the neighborhood. They offer the usual sushi rolls, but also have some appetizers, sushi pizza, poke bowls, donburi (rice bowls), etc. Basically, a decent variety for a sushi takeout spot. The prices are fair for sushi. The bowls are good value, but slightly smaller in size. The chicken Katsu is only $11.99 at time of review. You get curry rice with it, which is a very good deal. Unfortunately the chicken was a bit dry, as was the curry sauce, but decent. The poke bowl was very good with fresh ingredients. You don't get a lot of rice in it though. I ordered the veggie bowl, and it was so good I ordered it again on another occasion. Unfortunately the second time they did not include the main ingredient, which was the fried sweet potato sticks! They were busy that night so hopefully it was an oversight. Their sushi is always a hit in our household. We also noticed they didn't offer the bonus roll anymore for ordering over a certain $$ amount.“

“Been here many times since moving to Kanata! I lived in Japan ?? for over 2 years and their ramen comes pretty close. Their Zangi appetizer is like Karaage in Japan, just smaller. You’ve got to eat the ones in Japan at the Karayama restaurant. I also love the abstract simplicity of their restaurant design. They also recently changed their chairs. Very comfortable. Will continue to be my go to for Ramen here in Kanata.“

“High quality of food and a lot of selection. Food is fast, and they’re quick to help. Only downside is that the TVs are large and distracting, otherwise it’s 100%. Very clean, very friendly, great food, decent prices; I have gone for lunch, supper, eat in and pick up several times and very very happy with them, and my kids also love going there.Parking: Lots of spots shared with other stores though sometimes at lunch, they fill up and need to park on street.“

“We had a great time with friends at Kato. This restaurant has an exceptional table at a very affordable price for the quality. You can eat a generous portion of the excellent Beef Kimchi Rice for $25 or 8 Tuna Sushi for $16. It’s one of the very good restaurants in Outaouais.“

“Craving Korean Fried Chicken, I found this place. So glad I gave it a shot. The sweet soy seasoning rocked with the crispy chicken. Also tried the Soondubu Jjigae. It came with a steamy bowl of rice, just right amount for me. Definitely recommend!“

“I ordered from DoorDash so I honestly don’t know about the atmosphere but I don’t care about that when the food is this good. I ordered the Salmon Poke bowl and it was fresh and delicious. It was tangy, spicy, crunchy and satisfying. I also ordered the fried spring rolls which were also really tasty. Not greasy like other places, just crunchy and fresh. So glad this place opened up in my neighbourhood. I will try the sushi next time for sure but can see this being a regular place for me now. The prices were reasonable too.“

“Extremely fresh ingredients, extra crispy onions on top and perfect other ingredients-rice ratio. It's not cheap, but also quality comes with a price most of the times. I forgot that here in Canada prices are displayed without taxes, I was hoping to pay 17 dollars for this dish, but I ended paying almost 20.“

“Had no idea this place existed until we searched sushi. We normally frequent another local AYCE sushi place. The place isn't a high touch service, a hybrid of self service (water and tea) and service taking order and dropping the plates. We tried tempura, salmon lovers plate and torched salmon Bento box. They all hit the spot! Couldn't point out a flaw. Tempura and spring rolls were fried to perfection. Salmon sushi were all consistent in cut, rice was good not pasty or mushy. Torched sushi was my fav with the extra flavours. Price was reasonable. Will return and I recommend.“
