Before entering, I saw an employee through the window taking a break. I got to the cash and no one was there. It turns out it was the employee who was eating dinner. He never let me know that "I'll be there in a few minutes", so I just stood around waiting. When I finally got to order, I said I wanted 2 chicken tenders for the Toonie Tuesday special. When I opened the box, it was a 2-piece of dark meat instead. It was fine, I still ate it. But I must say, the pieces of chicken are so small nowadays that you need 2 -- maybe even 3 -- Toonie Tuesday specials to get full, because they don't come with fries anymore.

Not something that should be done when working as a team. Then I noticed one of the gentlemen in the back wearing slides and not appropriate shoes. Really not impressed. I have been a frequent patron of the KFC location on Hazeldean Road in Kanata for quite some time, primarily due to its proximity to my home. However, my recent experiences have consistently been disappointing, to say the least.The quality of the food leaves much to be desired. The chicken is almost ALWAYS dry and greasy. Furthermore, it's evident that the chicken pieces they receive are being cut in a manner that suggests an attempt to stretch portions and drive profit, resulting in very small portions.In contrast, I have found the KFC location at 2015 Robertson Road in Nepean to provide exemplary service and more importantly, consistently high-quality food. Despite the inconvenience of traveling to Nepean, I have opted to visit the Robertson Road location due to the stark difference in quality. Their chicken is always hot and fresh and normal in size.We ordered from the Hazeldean location this evening through UBER EATS as KFC.ca doesn't deliver to our address. We should've known better as it was yet another huge disappointment. Despite paying the upcharge for white meat only, I received predominantly thighs, which were both greasy and dry. Additionally, the side of corn was lukewarm, dried out and unappetizing. It was like we were eating chicken feed.Despite my repeated attempts to address these issues through KFC's customer service channels, the offered solutions have been nothing more than temporary band-aids. While I appreciate the sincere apologies and credits provided, they fail to address the root cause of the problem, leading to continued dissatisfaction with each visit. We have again learned our lesson and will never order from, or go to the Hazeldean location again.KFC has been in a sales decline for several years and it's because of poor locations like this one.I urge KFC to take this feedback seriously and prioritize rectifying the issues at the Hazeldean location to uphold the standards of excellence that the brand is known for.

After seeing the reviews of how unhygienic the place is, I can see why my stomach is acting up. I threw out the rest of the chicken. Never ordering from here again.

I think they do that so they can make a shape out of it. It cost me somewhere around $9.25. That's with no drink and no fries. I chose the wing because it's generally leaner than the ribs and the breasts and thighs. Of course, it had to have a layer of fat under the skin.Popeyes for me, from now on. The store had some decent pictures of the colonel on the wall but the kernel would be embarrassed to be on their walls now.Kentucky fried Chicken has a well-earned nickname. That nickname is Dirty Bird.No, I was not happy with my meal.Dietary restrictions: Anybody on a diet has to stay out of this restaurant. I had ordered the famous chicken box deal 4 burgers and 4 fries, was in drive through, after i made the payment i was told to leave drive through , park 10 minutes, then go through drive through again, when i got home the chicken was not even cooked properly had to throw out. very dissapointed and will not visit again.
