Rating as a delivery driver. Holy smokes easily the slowest places in all of Kingston. Without fail you’re waiting 10 mins MINIMUM to pick up a customers food. Absolutely zero priority for the delivery drivers drives me mad every time I get an order from here. Have a dedicated team towards delivery. Christ almighty

There should be a zero rating. I went to 5 guys to order a burger yesterday, order number 38. While I was waiting for the order, I saw one of the employees who was handling my food, use his hand to wipe off the counter where food is placed. He didn't wipe the counter with a clean napkin, he used the disposable gloves that he was wearing, the same ones he was wearing to handle food. I assume he had worn them for an extended period of time because you rarely see employees at 5 guys change the disposable gloves which is disgusting. They should be changing gloves frequently, it's a food establishment.After he used the gloved hand to wipe off the counter, he rubbed both gloves on the unclean smock he was wearing and continued to touch my food and other surfaces. He went to the deep fryer, touched equipment there then back to the counter, touched my food again, disgusting.I told a young lady what I had seen. She asked that employee to throw out the bun and remake it. He didn't do that, he asked me why and I told him what I saw him do. He didn't move to go and prepare a fresh bun for the burger so I threw the order number behind the counter and left without the food.

I ate in with my sister. The place was swamped with customers (and cooks). When I passed the counter and looked at the burgers laid out waiting to be dressed I noticed the bacon looked very dark. We ordered BLTs so I was hoping ours came with lighter cooked bacon. When we received our order we lifted the top bun and our bacon was beyond crispy. It was burnt. We were on a time schedule so we did not reorder. Very disappointing.

We used to really like their food, although its always been on the pricy side. Its the atmosphere that kept us at bay for several months at a time, too loud tunes out of tinny speakers, akin to fingernails on a chalk board at times, and always cold sitting area, downright freezing in summer. The last straw for us was a couple of days ago, $40 for a cold burger, hotdog, 1 fry we shared and two pops. The fries were overcooked, and the burger was smaller patties than I recall, but dry. When you pay the swipe automatically goes to a start at 15% tip, an obligation fee, so you can sit and wait 15 minutes to go up to the counter to grab cold food in a bag left on a counter. Sorry, we won't be returning.

It was really nice watching them make our food and the care they put into it. They checked the toppings on our burgers multiple times, all the food was fresh, and everything was clean too! They kept their work area clean, wiping it down when needed, and when two people got up to leave a worker was wiping down their table before they got out the door! The workers were polite and they all seemed happy to be there, meaning they weren't stressed and could focus on making the food properly.
