Finally ate at this hidden gem in Kingston and I'm glad it happened. Thoroughly enjoyed my sandwich and I was so pleased that it did not cost and arm and leg. It was nice to hear the folks working there addressing returning customers by name and with hospitality. I will be back.

The owners took the time to have a nice conversation with me and I noticed how friendly they were with every customer that came in. I had a sandwich from Mermaid Ave today for the first time and was blown away! Home made bread, thought out sauces and toppings, and an absolutely inspired menu. You can see (and taste) the love and dedication that has gone into the crafting of these one-step-beyond sandwiches. For real!This will be my go-to place in Kingston from now on.
