My partner and I went to this restaurant hoping for a nice evening out and ordered each a steak dinner. My partner had an 8oz Sirloin medium-rare. Sadly, she got hers medium-well, which was like rubber with no taste and could not finish it. I ordered a 10oz Sirloin medium-well. I got mine medium-rare with blood all over my plate which grossed me right out. It was also tough and did not finish it either. I also ordered a baked potato but they were out. We ordered mushroom and onions to complement the steak, which we assumed were panned fried. We got this "glob" of gravy with mushroom & onions mixed in. Very disappointed because this pretty much ruined our entire Friday night evening we had been looking forward to all week.The server, who was training a new waitress at the time, came to our table at the beginning of our meal to ask if everything was fine. Out of politeness, we hesitantly stated that it was. He then came again at the end when we basically had given-up trying to chew through the steak, and clearly saw that our plates were almost untouched and to my surprise, he never asked if there was something wrong with our meals. He simply gave us our bill and bid us farewell. The sad thing in all this is that he was "Training" a new waitress at the time, showing her how things are suppose to be done. How do you think that's going to work for them?I've been to Montanas many times. It's actually my favourite place to eat but I usually go to the one on Gardiners Road in Kingston and order ribs or a burger. I can tell you that I will not be ordering steak from this location again.Sincerely,

I had a great experience , really great service by cooper , me and my husband went there one evening (23/Mar/2024)and the place was packed. Cooper was great, he suggested us delicious food and helped me in particular deciding the food ; as I am a vegetarian. He genuinely cares about customer and looks like he is enjoying working at Montana’s.

Our waiter Cooper was very friendly and efficient. We had the fantastic fajitas with a lettuce wrap and it was very tasty! We washed it down with a yummy lemonade that was not too sweet, just right! Prices have increased slightly but the portion sizes are still really good. Ample parking, clean washrooms.Dietary restrictions: Lettuce wraps for GF.
