Homophobic and discriminatory, couldn’t believe what our server, young guy blonde in his 30s, said to me and my friends. Not appropriate to even post online. Not LGBT friendly!!!

Uppity Hipster Dive. Their website says their happy hour is 6-8 pm but it's actually 4-7 pm. We arrived as the town clock was literally ringing 7 and when I told the bartender about the times on their website he seemed a little too pleased to inform us we were "late" and would have to pay their inflated prices for a rather middling selection of beers. Mind, that was the only thing either bartender who served us seemed pleased at all about as both wore frowns like badges of honour, though the lone wait staff was a little more friendly. For a hole in the wall dive - which is what the place is - their prices are outrageous, with two cans of local beer and a single Old Fashioned costing us $40 with taxes and tip (and here's another tip bartender: wash your hands before handling the fruit you're using in the drinks). The only reason I'm giving the place any stars at all is because the band - Django's Kitchen - was excellent but between the grumpy barkeeps, the lack of any comfortable seating and the general filth it's the last place I'll ever go for live music again.

By far, this is one of the top bars of Kingston. From the moment you walk in it feels like home. The staff will make every effort to make you feel at home and recommend drink choices that reflect exactly what you want.If you want a different drink, the bar staff is happy to recommend the best drinks possible to fit your pallet. This place is worth your time. Please stop by if you’re in the area!

Cool spot. Good to go with people you know. They have live music and they make good cocktails. They also have tea and coffee if you're not a huge drinker.

This is my favourite bar in Kingston. The drink menu is all very delicious as far as I can tell! The service is really good. The bartender or server's description of the drinks make you want to get one - which works out great since it's a bar.
