“This place is my favorite. The perfect mix of a quality craft brewery with constantly rotating new taps, and a quirky bar. There are a lot of us that are local regulars who walk in for a pint or two. They’re dog friendly, kid friendly, and community friendly which really does make TWB my favorite in KW.“
“This is one of the best breweries in Kitchener/Waterloo and Cambridge. Personally, it's one of the few breweries in Canada that come across entirely personable and incredibly welcoming to everyone. The owner is extremely helpful, enthusiast, and well-knowledgeable about all areas of their business. The available beers will rotate, so often you can try a variety of different delicious beers throughout the year but still pick up their staples which are absolutely fantastic (make sure to do yourself a favour and grab some Lando!) The prices are fair, the areas are clean/well managed, and I have never encountered an issue with the mulitple times I have attended this establishment whether if it was for concerts, going with friends or just stopping in for a beer after work. It is one of the few places I know that not only an adult can enjoy, but kids are welcome with their parents and even dogs, too! I wish there were more places like Short Finger Brewing Co. in Kitchener/Waterloo/Cambridge, but I am extremely happy we have this place as not only do they support the Region of Waterloo at every opportunity but host a number of events for Arts community and more. I know if I stop in, it'll never be for a quick visit because it feels like a home away from home. And honestly, I love that.“
“Tried coming in a month ago place was jammed packed. Today we tried again on our way home to London, absolutely great experience! Detroit style Pizza was one of the best we had and the Crystal Park Pilsner so good I grabbed a six pack on our way out. Service slow to start but worth the wait, Dave was awesome as well. Plan to be back before New Years see you then Dave! Great job buddy !“
“From start to finish - planning our wedding at Abe Erb (Kitchener, Charles St location) was a very stress-free and wonderful experience. The manager, Tony, was very responsive to all our questions throughout the process, was involved in the planning and even helped serve meals the day of the event. He checked in with us occasionally on the wedding day to ensure we were happy and even helped clean up on the wedding day. He was friendly, organized and really helped alleviate any concerns we had throughout the entire process. The food and service was excellent on the wedding day and far exceeded our expectations. We had lots of room for all our guests to play games, dance or chat - whatever they wanted to do. We were also able to bring in any of our own decorations and table settings, as well as additions to the menu. We would highly recommend Abe Erb as a wedding or event venue!! Thank you to Tony and the team who all helped to make our wedding day fabulous!“
“The pretzels are amazing!Theyre a big portion and the dip alone is worth the price. And you get a ksrge enough portion of it to just load the pretzel up.Beers are great too, I like that there are such differences in variety ranging from a really delicious Radler to a pine IPA.“
“About a dozen different micro brewery bevies to sample, with some being permanent options and others being temporarily on the menu. Returning every few months allows you to keep trying new beers. A decent food menu for a brew pub. It also hosts karaoke once in a while that has the best local yodellers come out for it.“
“We stopped by for some live music and had a great time. The atmosphere and staff were wonderful, though some of the beer was mixed. The cloister abbey blonde was our favourite. We'll likely make our way back for another visit at some point.“
“Block 3 always has a great selection of beers that will please literally anyone. There’s a wonderfully crisp lager that will make even the most anti-craft beer friend happy, and I recently had a DIPA that was super easy to drink and tasted fantastic. They’re also super pet friendly and their staff is excellent.Always happy to stop in when we’re in town.“

“I have walked by this place many times and we finally made it the door, nice friendly place. Julia was over server and she was fantastic. We the sample flights of beer which were nice. The food, my buddy had the Korean Chicken burger and I had the Western Burger. Both came out fresh and very tasty. We will be back forsure.“
“Fabulous! We were detouring due to an accident on the Rainbow Bridge and happened to see the sign for Counterpoint on the building. Stopped for lunch. Ended up trying a couple of flights. Terrific beer (Blender was my favorite!) Cauliflower, falafel, grilled cheese, and chicken sandwich were delicious!“
