All their baked goods are incredible quality (the butter tart is a personal favourite) and you cannot beat the price. Their coffee paired quite nicely as well, so happy to see they had oat milk as a dairy free option with the coffee!

Love rhubarb tarts. Bagels are great, but rarely any by end of day. (This is a forewarning, and not a complaint. I respect responsible choices in not over baking product.) Grocery store croissants have nothing on these.Parking: About 5 spots in front of building.Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible ramp as main entrance. Washroom is on main floor, probably to tight for a scooter. But I appreciate it existing.

A gem on Victoria! Vintage setting. CASh only. The wood fired over when you open the door is a sight to behold. Hit fresh organic coffee. Single serving baked goods, loaves of bread, frozen baked goods available to go. An all around delight. Looks like a seasonal patio is available as well.Parking: Parking right out front.

I'm a morning person and seeing the warm glow of City Cafe as I come up over the hill on Victoria Street early on a Saturday is a special moment in my week.So when I grabbed my dozen bagels this morning alongside some guy just absolutely ripping on the baker at 7:20am about the quality of his bagel, it was a bit off-putting. I just finished a bagel as I type this, it was perfect. I don't understand how someone in their later years has failed to develop strategies to convey their feelings in a way that is not belittling and mean. To be that angry that early in the day, then claim that you know the owner and are going to have some words...call off your dogs bud. Breathe. Act like a decent human.To the woman working, I appreciate that staff are always friendly and make delicious baked goods. I wish I had done better to diffuse the situation. To the guy red in the face, running his mouth and pontificating how to make bagels, take a long hard look at yourself and do better.
Very good at what they focus on - bagels, croissant, sour dough bread and pizza. Bagels and pizza baked in the wood fired oven. I like it so much that I a there several times a month. Note that they only accept cash and there is no Wi-Fi. Great bagels and coffee is a wonderful way to start the day.Parking: If there is no parking in front, check the lot behind.
