We enjoyed a stunning authentic German meal in a beautifully decorated restaurant. The service was so friendly and welcoming. The menu was extensive with all of our favourites. We could not decide so we went with the platter, currywurst & spaetzle and their signature Black Forrest cake for maximum variety! All of the dishes transported us back to our memories of trips to Germany and so many memorable meals. The decor of the restaurant and servers in traditional clothes truly adds to this perfectly authentic dining experience. An easy 5 stars and will come back soon for more delicious German fare!
Usually, I avoid German restaurants abroad. Too expensive, too inauthentic and often not very yummy. Most of the time, I prefer to prepare German food myself.But this one in Kitchener was pretty decent. The goulash soup was fine and the smoked and crispy pork knuckle was excellent. The bit of everything plate with Spätzle was good, though my cabbage rolls are much better. ;)Oh, on Tuesdays they have 50% off the second entrée.Staff was very friendly and good atmosphere in the Restaurant.

Food was great and authentic, having myself dined in Bavaria and had many home cooked meals of German heritage, this place was spot on. Of course, vegetables are sparse and uninspiring when offered but that is to be expected with Bavarian quisine. The service, however, was slow and not terribly friendly. We tried to order our meals and drinks all at the same time when first approached by the server (we knew what we wanted) but this was not permitted. We had to order drinks first, receive them, then wait for another visit to order food. I wonder what would have happened if all of us were good with jut the water we had?When the food arrived it was plentiful, hot, authentic and tasty. I will go back and hope for faster service.

We just enjoyed our 1st Good Friday take out fish and chip dinner and we’re very happy with everything, from beginning to end.Never ordering before,I asked a lot of questions about portion size to how it all worked. Very friendly phone service and she was correct in all that she promised me. 6 adults and 4 children and we ordered 2-4piece dinners and 1-2piece dinner and we were stuffed and it was hot and so delicious. Our fish portions were large and cooked to perfection. The fries were amazing and the coleslaw was very tasty. The tartar sauce had to be homemade as it was yummy.This was our first time but hands down this will be our go to place for our Good Friday dinner.

In a word “fantastic”. The food was fresh and delicious. Service was great. We were served by Rise who helped us navigate the menu for our first visit. A wonderful experience all around in a wonderful surrounding. I understand now why the Concordia Club is famous. Looking forward to visiting again.
