My family and I love this place, our food standard is pretty high but this restaurant does it for us! The tender chicken, perfectly cooked kabob and all the sides are perfect. The sweets section is amazing too, so many options.

Their falafel and manakish bread are amazing. Their meat quantity is not that bad. They need to improve the customer service to let the customer come again.

The food is great, the in-person customer service is also great. The team needs to work on communication amongst themselves for pre-orders. I placed an order for the mini buns/pastries. Talked to a lady and called on two different days to confirm the date and time of pick-up. She assured me and confirmed the pick-up date and time. When my husband went to pick it up, they said there was no date on the note left to communicate the order which means our order wasn’t ready. Unfortunately, the items are part of the menu for an event in Toronto, so we had to wait for it to be prepared. This messed up our schedule and means we were running considerably late due to an error on their side. Please do better and establish a process for pre-orders to avoid miscommunications and inconveniencing customers.

We were really impressed when coming here. They have a wide menu and really good food. I’d recommend getting some of their charcoal grilled meat - out of this world. The array of deserts is really something too. The staff were really kind to the kids ??

I'm going to be honest with you - 3 midterms in one week drain you out in more than one way. Hoping to recover from them, I went down to Damask Resto Market (645 Westmount Rd E, Kitchener, ON N2E 3S3).A halal, family-owned Syrian restaurant, Damask has made a name for itself over the past decade for its delicious food and quaint little dessert and candy shop. When I went there, I ordered the chicken shish tawook and the chicken pita delux. With the tender, marinated chicken skewers grilled to perfection with a smoky char, the chicken shish tawook was a delicious combination of savory, umami, and juicy. The chicken pita delux was even better - picture the ultimate savory delight featuring succulent grilled chicken nestled on a bed of crisp lettuce, juicy tomatoes, tangy onions, zesty pickles, all generously drizzled with a creamy, garlic sauce. Mouthwatering, right? Each bite showcased the finest Middle Eastern flavors, making for a truly satisfying meal!Should you find yourself in Kitchener craving a good plate of halal Middle Eastern food, Damask is the place to be. Come here for the food, stay for the ambience, and leave with a bag of delicious desserts - now that's a meal!To hear more about this review, follow us @eatinontario on Instagram, TikTok, & Facebook. ✨??

I ordered Kunafe for $44 on Tuesday, and it was inedible. I was so disappointed as I had to throw away 80% of it. We couldn't finish one piece. I tried to contact the restaurant but got no response. It's disappointing. I do not recommend it to anyone.

Our volleyball team was in town for a tournament, and we ordered dinner from Damask to feed our group of hungry teenagers and parents. The food was delicious, healthy and fresh! We ordered chicken, beef, falafel, salads, rice, fries, and dips - which accommodated meat eaters and vegetarians alike. Everyone was happy and full. Our order was delivered to our hotel on time, and was packaged conveniently to serve to our large group. Excellent! Thank you!Vegetarian options: Falafel, rice, fresh salads, hummus - yum!
