I had the butter chicken plate, the rice was okay, the salad I wasn't keen on and the butter chicken was just fine, I felt it needed more flavour and a bit more spice but the chicken itself wasn't bad. I was recommended this place but even they said it went downhill since they went last 4 years ago.

Chicken seems to be old. Less quantity. You can get better shawarma somewhere else with much quantity. Sticky chicken seems suspicious. Not recommended

A hidden gem if you want to try some really good shawarma. They serve the best falafel in town.I tried falafel at multiple restaurants and the big shawarma chains as well, no one can beat the falafel of this place. Always fresh and amazing quantity. Highly recommend.

I used to live on lancaster street and would visit lanacaster shawarma at least twice a week. Its been over a year since I moved, I ordered lancaster shawarma for dinner tonight and I was not impressed. The butter chicken didn't look, smell or taste like butter chicken at all. Truthfully the colour threw me off and I lost my appetite. Tried 1 bite and tasted as though it has been cooking in a crock pot for days, burnt and dry.

It was ok, falafels were good.Rice was plain white parboiled rice with a yellow colour to it. Same as every other place.Couple tomato slices and cucumber on a bed of lettuce.I don't really expect much from a popup restaurant attached to a variety store.Service was very good.

The chicken wrap was made of old veggies and chicken which tasted like rubber and smelled like rotten fish. Really bad experience.

I can’t lie.. I used to love this spot before now it’s just crazy overprice. 15$ for a shawarma plate with BARELY any chicken is a crime. They used to not be cheap with it but oh well. I would suggest trying zay zayman across the street for getting your moneys worth.

I recently tried Lancaster Shawarma, and boy, was it a falafel-icious experience! Freshly made falafel right in front of us, cut veggies that added some serious crunch, and a nice ambience with a delightful lady serving us. The only hitch? They could use a little more sauce variety. But hey, they also offer Gyro shawarma! Just grab a bite and find a spot on the outside bench. Overall, it was a good falafel-filled adventure

The fries I had and garlic potatoes tasted old which was disappointing. I saw in a previous review that they're pre-cooked then reheated so this makes sense. My chicken shawarma was also very oily and didn't taste fresh.
