My wife and I are currently seated at a table inside Shawarma Star. We have never been here before but what a good choice made on a whim. Very large amount of very delicious chicken schawarma (left over for supper tomorrow). And the server was super friendly and pleasant. Can't possibly go wrong eating here.

I’ve been coming here about once a month for the past several years and have always been blown away by the great food. I normally get the chicken poutine and it was always very consistent and high quality for the price. I had tried several shawarma places in town and this was my favourite by far - specifically the quality of the meat and the amazing sauces.The past couple of times I’ve come here recently, I noticed that they changed their sauces (specifically garlic mayo and spicy mayo, but maybe others). They are much lower quality now and taste nothing like they used to. The sauce also looks much cheaper and watery. This has spoiled the experience for me and myself and my family don’t enjoy the food anymore.Please bring back your old sauces and I would love to come back! Until then I will be eating elsewhere.

Guy at the counter making the food was really nice. But didn’t find the food to be that great. Got the large shawarma plate and fries. Fries were best, rice didn’t have much flavour and the side salads was kinda sad. Honestly wasn’t worth the money we spent on it. But like gentlemen who made my order said “people will eat anything if they are hungry enough” even if it not good.

This is our favourite shawarma spot in KW! The food is so fresh, so delicious and the portions are beyond generous. The menu has something for everyone and the owner is very kind and welcoming. Feels good supporting a business that has so much passion involved in serving the community.
