My visit to the grant Mehfil restaurant today and finds following likes/dislikes.Ambiance: The ambiance at The Grand Mehfil is very nice. The decor and atmosphere provide a pleasant dining experience.Service: The service at the restaurant is slow and lacks quality checks after serving the food. This is an area that needs improvement to ensure a better dining experience for the customers.Food: The Grand Chat as an appetizer is very good, offering a delightful start to the meal. However, the TGM Non-veg mix platter lacked variety in taste, with all elements tasting the same. This was disappointing as other places offer a distinct taste for each element in the platter. The main course, Beef Vindaloo, was not up to the mark and tasted predominantly of Cardamom. The dish was so unsatisfactory that it was requested to be thrown out and the chef was advised about this. Butter Chicken was very good. Palak paneer is also tasty but needs little improvement.Management: The management’s lack of response to the issue with the Beef Vindaloo was disappointing. They did not apologize for the unsatisfactory dish, showing a lack of care for the customer’s dining experience. But the Server "Ektha" apologised it and showed empathy. Additionally, they do not respond to any of the reviews, which is a concern.Conclusion: Based on this experience, a second visit to The Grand Mehfil is not recommended. The restaurant needs to improve its service, food quality, and management’s response to customer feedback to provide a better dining experience.Overall, the restaurant has potential but needs to address these issues to ensure a satisfactory dining experience for all customers.
