This is THE best place to have an amazing meal, fantastic service and great music. You immediately want to spend more time there than you anticipated because it is so welcoming. The duck wings are my favorite! But everything on the menu is incredible. I've been here with my family, on a girls night out, and with my boyfriend and everyone has very much enjoyed the experience. Cannot thank the staff enough for going the extra mile to make our dining a fantastic experience!

Absolutely horrifying and terrifying!On Saturday February 10, 2024:Rich Uncle Manager Rob/Bobbo was talking to a patron by the open end of the bar, as the band began their final song of the evening; they appeared to know each other. When all of a sudden Rich Uncle manager Bobbo violently put the patron in a head-lock and dragged him out the door! Unbelievable!!!He would later attempt to convince everyone the older gentleman took a swing at him, which was a complete fabrication; the man was holding a phone at the time and using it with the other hand - Rich Uncle manager Bobbo violently attacked the man, unprovoked!I believe the Rich Uncle manager Bobbo must have some mental illness to behave in this manner. He appears to be a danger to others, and should not have a public-oriented job position without strong mental disease medication.I talked to the police regarding this incident and the officers assigned to this case were complete imbeciles. I urge anyone that witnessed what really happened to call Waterloo Region police.We will never return to the Rich Uncle - don't feel safe there

We went to this restaurant based on reviews and photos of the menu. Our waitress was pleasant, but had way too much perfume on. I ordered the fish and chips the fish. I'm sure was definitely frozen and deep fried. The fries were over salted so much that they were in edible, my husband ordered the lamb burger and the pattie was so thin and small. My husband‘s fries were also over salted. Forgot to mention the pathetic excuse of coleslaw that came with my dinner a few shreds of red onion, and red cabbage.

My partner and I have visited this restaurant twice and both times were very disappointing. The first time we ordered the fish and chips and the duck wings. The fish and chips were a good portion but the duck wings were cold. The second time we got the curry and the rigatoni, again portions were good but both dishes were cold and the curry was extremely disappointing. We were served three pieces of falafel with a cup of sauce and cold rice on the side. Extremely overpriced. Service was also quite slow. On the bright side the bartender was very friendly. We will definitely never visit this restaurant again.

Restaurant decor is very beautiful! our server was wonderful! Live music was such a nice vibe! .. not too loud that we couldn't still have conversations. HOWEVER, because of the prices and food quality I would not return. Our bill was $300 for 4 people , 2 of us got lamb burger (no flavour/ I think overcooked) another person got a small poutine( potatoes were mushy) Another got a beef burger ( so basic!). Felt very ripped for what we got. , menu is really small also, I got a margarita that was literally 3 sips and gone and I think it was over $20 . If the food was amazing we wouldn't mind spending the money but it was NOT even close .

We shared the Koren Wonton Nachos without protein, she had the fish and chips, and I had the Koren fried chicken and waffles. Absolutely delicious! Now, it is a bit on the pricey side, but for what you get and the quality of the food it is well worth it. Would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a funky spot, with good drinks, and amazing food. We will be back for sure! The wife's already told me I screwed up bringing her here because she's already craving those Wonton Nachos.

We were in town for a quick girls night, and we had a great time at The Rich Uncle. Food was delicious, good amount, reasonable price. Cocktails were, chefs kiss. There was live music, the guys were fantastic. They also had a few of the sports games on which was also great. I can't remember our servers name but she was lovely, encouraged us to take our time and enjoy our night, and she regularly checked in on us. Washrooms we're also clean, which I consider an important detail. All around great experience, we'll be back when we're in town.

It was great. Delicious burgers. I had the lamb burger with sweet potato fries and my husband had the mushroom burger with regular fries. He had some wonderful local beer and I had delicious cocktails. The service was great. Wonderful evening.

I don't know what's going on in the restaurant industry, or if I'm getting pickier as I get older but I'm dissatisfied at many restaurant experiences these days?-not enough cozy seating. Only a few booths which seem to be entirely booked by people requesting them by reservation. We had a reservation but could not get a booth when we got there. If you like intimate dining, request a booth on your reservation. The rest of the seating is close together, very open, table rocked, and chairs weren't very comfortable.-Service was slow but they caught this without us having to say anything and comped our apps. I was impressed they did this completely without a word from us so in the customer service department I was impressed!-Apps: we had the sausage roll & small beet salad. Both great.-Mains: Hubs had the peppercorn burger. It was delicious, so I'd guess all of their burgers are good. I had the Korean fried chicken & waffles. I love good food. Something was off! Chicken I could tell they knew what they were doind from a cooking standpoint (super crispy!) but in my experience fried chicken is salty. Maybe Korean fried chicken is different I don't know but the lack of salt just wasn't it! The waffles were cold and firm, and dry.Overall I just wasn't blown away!
