We attended a mystery event. The place was fine, and the food was great. The drink was pricey. The event page told us $10 parking on the site, but we were charged $20, which was wrong.

We are so pleased to host our wedding at The Doctor’s House. I’ve been there for other weddings and events and have always been impressed. The food is delicious, the place is gorgeous, there is ample parking, and guests are treated with care. We were shocked to learn that the venue was both available for our upcoming wedding (as it’s usually well booked), and that the price was on par (or even cheaper than) other venues in the GTA, with no hidden costs. I’m also very excited to know that it will look slightly different than it did for a close friend’s wedding a few years ago, because the venue updates the look and feel of its spaces every few years, since it is in such high demand. Once we toured the place with the help and thoughtfulness provided by Angela, our decision was secured, and we signed the paperwork that night. Looking forward to the wedding and will update the review after!

My fiance and I visited the Doctors House this past weekend for a walk through, we are hoping to get married next year and this was the first venue on our list to check out. Angela was the individual who showed us around, she was super nice and gave us a lot of useful information about wedding planning in general and the location of course.They have three different rooms based on the size of your party, one of them was recently renovated, we looked at two of them. Both rooms were very nice, if I had to pick one it would be the one upstairs. There's even a small chapel which is perfect for about 100 people or so, you even ring the bell by pulling on a rope after the ceremony.We're going to continue to look at other locations, this is definitely going to be hard to top.

They made sure our wedding was taken care of before, during, and after the wedding. I booked my daughter's bridal shower and was extremely pleased. Angela Lisi and Elisa Palumbo-Thompson were very professional, timely with communication and great people to deal with. This all is a reflection of the Ownership. The food was delicious and hot and all wait staff were helpful and cared. I would recommend for any special occasion. Our piano player John as well as our officiant Hazel who were a package deal were absolutely wonderful and customized the ceremony to fit our needs. The perfect place to start a lifetime together :)

I got married at The Doctor's House in June in the Great Hall , and it was the most perfect day! Right from our initial meeting with Angela over a year before our date we felt part of the family and community they've built. Working with Elisa in preparing for our big day was a breeze, she is always ready and willing to help and lend a hand wherever she can. Elisa, Angela and their entire team made for stress free wedding planning.And not to mention, executed the wedding of our dreams! The grounds and the great hall were stunning and the food was to die for, we received so many compliments from our guests still to this day.My husband and I had the best day of our lives and it's all thanks to The Doctor's House and their amazing team.

Would definitely recommend The Doctor’s House especially for a wedding. We just had my sister’s wedding there and Elisa and her team were phenomenal! They successfully turned my sister and her husbands dream into a reality. Everyone was so pleased with the beautiful venue and the staff, we got great feedback from friends and family. Elisa and Angela were so prompt at answering us throughout the planning process, the upcoming week and the day of the wedding. On the day of the wedding we felt as prepared as one can be on this day lol. Everything was very organized/on track and when plans did change (as they do at weddings) her and her team were very helpful and flexible in order to get back on track! I would highly recommend this venue!!

Everything about our wedding day at the Doctor's House was incredible! It is such a beautiful venue inside and out, tucked away in the cutest village and surrounded by a lovely picturesque garden. We had the Garden room which is my favourite room of all because of it's cozy intimate feel and gorgeous warm wooden accents with stunning chandeliers. We went minimal with our decor because the room speaks for itself — don't overdo it! I was also pleasantly surprised to find out we would have new chairs for our wedding day (which I believe are much more elevated than the previous ones) and the renovations to the bar were perfect.Nothing compares to the food here (all our guests agreed) and the tasting was so lovely. Huge compliments to the chef and the restaurant staff!On the day of the wedding everything ran smoothly thanks to our coodinators! Elisa and Angela are wonderful, kind women and were a great help when planning our wedding at the Doctor's House. Elisa was always there to answer my questions throughout the entire process to ensure the day would be everything I had hoped for. She was very accommodating. I am so grateful for her!I don't have a single negative thing to say about the Doctor's House. Our day was a dream come true. The only thing I would point out to any future bride is that the grounds can be shared by up to 3 events in a day, which means you may need to pivot when it comes to taking photos. Just have a plan and share with your coordinator, they do their best to accommodate and ensure all couples are happy on their day. Thankfully there are a ton of great places on the grounds where photos can be taken if things don't go as planned.All in all, my husband and I are so happy with our choice. This place will forever be in our hearts!! Thank you Doctor's House <3
