I've came here multiple times in the last few months, every single time I wait 20 minutes with no server or even menus dropped off. Bartender is the worst, go up to the bar and he's rude and combative, tells you to keep waiting, NEVER come here, complete waste of time

Stopped here during a break at a hockey tournament, was staying at the double tree across the street. Ate at Crabby Joe's the night before, but wish we'd come here first. Better atmosphere for the kids. Thought it was just a bar, there's enough to keep the kids entertained too. Food was excellent, so was service.

J. Bartender. Been serving me for years. Then out of nowhere he refused to serve me and my friend after a smoke saying we were “too intoxicated” how laughable is that? I’ll never tip him ever again.

Super disappointed with some staff acting how they have been. I agree with having the right to refuse service, I've been there done that in the bar industry. Do not think that policy should go as unchecked as it does here. Majority of the time someone doesn't get served is reasonably due to the past and/or present actions or behavior of that person and is legit. It should not be due to association with others or based on the personal opinions of staff about patrons actions or relations outside of the establishment. Not cool and a fast way to lose business/disappoint regulars.

Good selection of beer, but food was not great. The washrooms were awful, dirty and extremely stinky.

A hole in the wall pub with a old-school bar vibe. A couple of pool tables, specials on pints of beer and yummy pub fare to eat. Definitely get your money's worth here!

Bartender was extremely racist laughing with all of the people sitting at the bar about me! I’m Native American and from Onieda and was just coming in for drink. Now all of the other bad reviews make sense. Their words “get off my land and back to the reserve.” Extremely unprofessional and have never had to deal with something like this before. Beware of ale house!

In the world of dining, two essential elements stand out: the food itself and the people who serve it. However, there are times when these elements don't live up to our expectations, leaving us with a less than pleasant experience.Firstly, let's talk about the food. When we dine out, we hope for delicious, satisfying meals. But there are occasions when the dishes served fall short, and people might describe them as "horrendous." This means the food isn't up to par, and it's a major letdown. Imagine biting into a pizza that's all burnt and tasteless when you were expecting a cheesy, savory delight. Now, consider the staff at the restaurant. They play a crucial role in our dining experience. We expect them to be polite and helpful. Unfortunately, there are times when the staff's behavior is far from welcoming. They may be rude or even treat people unfairly because of their race. This behavior stains the restaurant's reputation and leaves customers feeling uncomfortable and upset.Overall, when these two problems – bad food and unfriendly staff – come together, it creates a negative memory of the restaurant. Dining should be straightforward: good food and kind service. When it doesn't meet these basic expectations, it's disappointing and not what we look forward to when we go out to eat.
