The cool Kid

Service was horrible, waited 20 minutes for the food. Everything was completely out of order. When I received my meal there was half amount of chicken as any other shawarma place would have. Food was good although, I won’t come back due to the poor service and lack of chicken in the meal.

French fries were soggy, shawarma had ketchup on it which is disgusting, the toume and hummus were the only good thing in the order. The delivery guy was amazing. The only thing this did for my hubs was make him miss his grandmothers

This was a really nice, self serve place near Western University. I really loved the vibe it was nice and quiet and we ordered their famous Lebanese cuisine. A chicken shawarma rice bowl and a falafel plate on the side, to be honest it was really delicious and food cooked was super fresh. I would surely recommend people to try out their food.

Usually restuarants like Shelby's and Tahini's get bought by non-arabs then the employees, food, and prices become really bad. Glad to say the last time I went to barakat is was relatively the same as to 4/5 years ago.Vegetarian options: they have salads and vegetarian shawarmas from my understanding.

Pretty much the best schwarma in town. And there is a LOT of competition here in London. The meat is flavourful and tender. The portions are big. The garlic sauce is #1 here - and has no egg in it. Honestly, I can put this sauce on toast - it is that good.I've tried them all and keep coming back to Barakat.

A single plate of chicken and rice with all the fixings took me three days to eat, and I'm the kind of guy who can down a whole pizza in one sitting if I'm hungry enough. The food is dense and packed with flavor. Pretty affordable, too. Definitely worth checking out if you're a shawarma fan.
