First time visit last night (April 16/2024) while on route to Buttermilk when we saw Churches Texas Chicken. Never heard of them before but intrigued, we went inside.I must say, the chicken sandwich and nuggets were fabulous, highly recommend. The fries were great too but, for what I’ll deem a new, or newer restaurant (again not knowing how long they’ve been at this location), I wish we did drive thru.The restaurant was absolutely filthy. The floors had napkins and other garbage scattered on the floors and the tables, and I mean ever table was filthy. We asked an employee behind the counter if they would wipe a table clean which they did, with water and a rag. We had to ask for them to return to wipe the chairs also, crumbs scattered on both table and chairs.By the time I got our food, I also had to ask for additional paper towels to dry the chairs of the.water the woman used to clean the chairs.I highly recommend you at least try the chicken but also, recommend skipping going inside and just recite food home, or eat on your vehicle. I would have canceled my order had I seen the look of the tables and chairs before sitting down and carried on to Buttermilk.PS. The woman who wiped our table, did so to all the open tables and chairs before returning to the back. Sadly, a customer shouldn’t have to ask for a clean table because not one table was clean. Not one.

Ordered a couple of chicken sandwich’s combos. When we got them the bun was toasted but cold and dry, the chicken was warm but not enough to melt the cheese slice and the cheese slice seemed to be dry out ( left out in the open air). The place was not that busy btw.Will not be returning. Not worth the $35 spent.
