I'd love to be able to give a review higher than 5 for the service I received today. I ordered a large New York Steamer with an extra pickle and a couple of brownies. When asked if I was taking out or eating in, I replied that I was taking it home to split with my husband. When I got home and opened the bag, I saw two sub boxes. My first thought was that they made two subs. When I opened the boxes I saw that they had put half a sub in each one with it's pickle. That was a nice surprise and I called the store and told them how much I appreciated it - after the lunch rush was over, of course. Shannon and Miranda did an excellent job today, going above and beyond what was expected. The sub and brownies were excellent too.

Food was below par and service was not attentive. Seemed more interested in listening to his co-worker than us. Guess thats why our subs weren't made correctly. Won't be returning to this location.

Paid $38 for 2 small subs and 2 fountain pops. Started to feel sick halfway through my sandwich. Still feeling sick 24 hours later. The pop machine was empty and put of 90% of the flavors. We should have been notified when ordering. The employee did nothing been my husband told her. I will be reporting this location to head office. I am sick and tired on spending top dollar on subpar food. This location is awful. I will also be reporting this to the health unit. I do not appreciate being made sick ?

Good location, subs are nice and tidy also filling. Staff is friendly. Firehouse subs are a little on the expensive side.

Im always disappointed in the wait times so I talked to the employee there and they told me the owners demand less than 10% labor costs which is absolutely ridiculous. They went on to say that the actual food cost of sandwiches is 2 to 4 dollars and the owners personally pocket 10 or more dollars of EACH sandwich. They also showed me some VERY abusive emails from a man name Phill (the owner) and it was disgusting the way this man speaks to people and late emails suggesting he has quiet a drinking problem. Stop supporting greedy people who treat there workers poorly and profit so disgustingly.

It was my first time coming here and I am very impressed. The bun for the sandwich was really good quality, you get lots of meat on your sandwich, and the staff was helpful with navigating the menu and choosing toppings. Definitely will come back!

Great subs worth waiting for. The decor is lierally firehall. Local photos from fire scenes on the wall, bunker gear on hooks. All they need is a siren to announce when your order is ready (kidding, just say my name).

When compared with Subway it might feel a bit expensive. But I wouldn’t complain about it. The quality of meat and everything else is just top notch which is something that Subway lacks. Kudos to the great quality.

2 stars would be too generous! We went in today to grab lunch, the cashier took our order and looked bothered when we added free items to the order. She didnt point us to the free item chart which we only noticed after. We then stood by the counter for a few minutes but our order wasn't ready. We proceeded to sit down for 10 minutes. We then stood at the end of the counter expecting our subs to be ready shortly. Not one employee gave us any eye contact as we stood waiting yet another 15 mins. I interrupted one employee to ask where our subs were. The one who made our order said she called our names 3 times and our food sat waiting for 15 mins and now cold and soggy. We received no apology, only her justification that she did her job. Yet, there we stood waiting 25 mins with zero acknowledgement and no food. We didnt hear her call and there were only a few people in there. Very disappointed in the lack of customer service at this location.

Went in today and enjoyed the create your own sub promotion. It was a lot of food for only $9. The staff (Cindy and Jacob) were friendly and helpful. My roast beef sub was very delicious.

Workers all looked miserable, no effort in customer service. Only one girl of the 4 working was making the subs.. others were stocking chips and playing with thermostat.. 10 people waiting for food.. ordered 2 subs and has taken over 20 minutes to come out. Wouldn't return even if the subs were the best ever.

Just went today and I asked specifically for no mayonnaise on my sub , and they put it on. My Wife asked for no mayonnaise on hers as well and they kept it off but didn't put the mustard as was supposed to be on it. We ordered a specific sub for our Granddaughter and they didn't put all the veggies she asked for and didn't put the cheese on her Cheese Sub. They screwed up all our orders and when I brought it to their attention , the girls just dropped their heads and didn't say a word. Will never go to Firehouse subs again. Useless people working at this Wonderland Rd. S. location !
