“We had a chance to experience One on York last night for the first time and it was amazing . The food was delicious and the service was impeccable! We had never been to Michael on the Thames but after seeing the menu and hearing positive feedback we decided it was a place to try and they knocked it out of the park . The atmosphere in the covered patio overlooking the Thames was the perfect location to enjoy a nice bottle of wine and some fantastic food . If your looking for a great fine dining experience you won’t be disappointed!A Must Try !“
“Excellent food! Came twice in one weekend. Enjoyed a 'nest' on kale, delicious rotisserie chicken, and Buffalo blue cheese sauce. Then enjoyed a yummy dessert vanilla square. Next time, tried the dirty chicken sandwich, which to my delightful surprise was cooked in separate deep fryer than their fish (due to allergies that's a relief)! So good and tasty. Others had the housemade soup and quoted it was best they'd had! Staff were attentive and very accommodating. New fave!“
“I stopped here in the market while getting some coffee. I met the owner and had a conversation and left with some pastries. Then I got home and I was AMAZED. I haven’t had pastries this good since the last time I was in France 20 years ago!! Needless to say I’m back only two weeks later getting enough for a family brunch! If you’re on the fence. Just do it, your mouth and your heart will thank you!“
“The Springs was such an incredible hit for my bridal shower! The room was bright, cheery, spacious and nicely decorated with fresh flowers. There was ample seating for close to 30 people, with space to mingle with all of the guests. Dean and Ron were incredible hosts, very accommodating and provided everything we needed to have a wonderful bridal shower. Dean even drove down the street to get gluten free bread for the gluten free guests to have bread for the burgers and turkey wraps. The guests raved about the quality of the delicious food that was served. The whole experience surpassed my expectations; I felt like I won the lottery with Dean and Ron and The Springs restaurant! I highly recommend The Springs not only for dinner but for every event you are having!“
“There are numerous restaurants here in London. But there can only be a top five…. David’s Bistro makes that cut.For the past year, I’ve avoided David’s because I am a picky eater and only enjoy certain ingredients. Right now, their dishes suit my taste. David, the owner, greeted me with warm welcome. We’ve known each other for a while.Like most fine dining establishments, David’s will hang up your coat. After sitting you down, they will bring you as much bread as you want. It IS divine. Their menu includes an impressive array of wine and liqueurs, and several appetizers and entrees each.I ordered two appetizers to start. A duck and pistachio terrine came first. I sliced the terrine and placed it on a grilled baguette along with cognac orange marmalade. The other appetizer was a French onion tart with Marsala braised onions and mornay sauce. The tart was made of puff pastry. My entree was a boar belly on squash risotto with sage, bacon, and Parmesan. The boar was juicy and still tender, giving the perfect texture.Dessert was a dark chocolate marquise. It had hints of orange zest, very much like a Terry’s Chocalate Orange. The inside is classy. On their sound system, they play instrumental jazz. This complements the art-covered walls. Incidentally, servers dress up in business attire.David’s Bistro is and has been a premium restaurant for years. Newspapers and industry experts believe this day and age is the end of fine dining. David’s website acknowledges this, but they don’t plan to stop. Help them prove critics wrong.“
