It's a hidden gem in the middle of London if you're looking for freshly cooked Chinese cuisine. Best of all, they're open before 3pm!The sweet and sour pork was cooked perfectly - crunchy and saucy, with fresh cut bell peppers. The chow mein and the beef broccoli had nice servings, and the fried rice was very tasty. The large wonton soup was more than enough side serving for four of us, 2 adults and 2 children below 10. The design of the restaurant was a bit dated, but I think it gives you a very homey feel.

The owners are warm and inviting. The service was superb! The food was freshly prepared with generous portions and quality food. We had delicious wonton soup, egg rolls, vegetable fried rice, almond soo gai and shrimp lo mein. Fantastic and enough for leftovers to take home.

Very tasty Cantonese Food. We ordered the mushroom egg foo young, cantonese chow mein and chinese vegetables- each dish was flavourful and presented nicely. Noodles were perfectly cooked as were the vegetables. The owner and cook is very nice and eager to please. His restaurant his clean and welcoming.

This is the place to go for delicious Chinese food. I had the Roast Pork Egg Foo Yung and it was fantastic. Large portion with veggies cooked well. Everything had texture and flavor. The mushroom sauce they served with it was the perfect consistency. The owner threw in a bowl of rice at no extra charge.Great spot!Google maps takes you to the Plaza but it's a little further in to the left than expected.

This was our first time ordering from Happy Kitchen and we did based on the reviews, however, our experience was not as wonderful. We placed the order from their website and noticed the lack of description provided for each dish. We had to use google to figure out what one item was. Among the items we ordered were cheese wontons and cantonese chow mein. Because I have a shellfish allergy I added a note to the cantonese chow mein asking for no shrimp due to an allergy (which we have done at many other restaurants). Shortly after the order went through, we received a call from someone who worked there advising us that there is crab in the cheese wontons. Had I not added the chow mein to our order which prompted the call, I would have eaten one of those "cheese" wontons not knowing until it was too late that they were actually crab. There were other issues with the order, the fried wontons are only strips of fried wonton wrappers and the chicken in one dish was a weird, soft texture that made me think it was undercooked, but my husband said was processed chicken. We don't feel safe ordering from them again.

We consider this place a hidden gem and highly recommend Happy Kitchen! We’ve ordered from here for take-out 3 times so far with pretty large orders. We have been so impressed by the freshness, taste of their food AND they have always been so kind and happy! Some of our favourites are: Singapore noodle, almond soo guy (the gravy is awesome!), egg rolls (bean sprouts are fresh), chicken fried rice… I really could go on since I haven’t had one complaint.Thank you for your amazingly kind service and great food! See you again soon :)
