I ordered from India House a couple weeks ago. I ordered what I thought was mild dishes but they were inedible. I've had Indian food for years but never as overspiced as this time. I could only eat the garlic Naan. I love India House, but this last meal I could not eat due to the heat of being heavily spiced. This is the first time I've been disappointed by that restaurant.

Some of the best Indian food in the London area. Their biryani is absolutely fantastic, as are their samosas. Friendly, quick and surprisingly affordable.
Very slow service. No sense of urgency. No wonder why it's empty. Was recommended by a friend but he said they were slow. But I didn't think it took more than 40 mins to get our order, and there was only 1 other table.Not recommended.

Best butter chicken in the city, hands down. I love that they can accomodate any spice level preference. I'm a wimp for spicy foods and there's loads on the menu for me, but trust me on the butter chicken! (Bring a sweater in the summer, the a/c is usually really strong.)
