Took 25 minutes to make a terrible sandwich – toasted bread but completely cold inside and looked like it was assembled by a toddler, completely RAW mushrooms, I thought it was a given that they were gonna at least sauté them. To top things off, they served my sandwich with a side of ruffles chips that had been emptied out of a bag lol. It was actually kind of funny how bad the food was. Coffee was decent but that's pretty difficult to mess up. Save yourself $25 and make an infinitely better sandwich and coffee at home with a fraction of the equipment. Hilariously bad food.

I love this market and I'm so glad this cafe offers gluten free and vegan options! I'm always on the hunt for baked goods, and they had some treats that were gluten free, vegan, or both! I had a gluten free and vegan cranberry brownie, and the texture was on point. The employee was extremely friendly as well.

Visited the first time with my daughter who works downtown. He was very friendly and knew her order. Was helpful to me deciding what I would like. The coffee was so good I asked my daughter to pick up more for me to brew at home. Highly recommend!

Friendly service! I had a delicious veggie wrap and lots of coffee selection as well as snacks. Check it out!

Stopped by the market today on a whim looking for food and I am so glad we decided on this spot! Super delicious! Friendly service! I will definitely be back and can't recommend this enough. The guy working was fantastic! Yum yum!

Rude. After paying for a coffee and bagel we were told to wait but not where. A friend of the owner then came up to order and we were told "can we wait somewhere else" in a really condescending tone. Maybe tell people where to wait to start off with or POLITELY say where to wait. When we did get the bagel it was almost raw.. warmed up slightly and had to open it to see if there was actually cream cheese on it because it's the only way you could tell. Plenty of other places to go in the market. Nothing special at all

I don't get out much to this one. But I'm always pleased with the service when I do ?

I always enjoy everytime I came here. The owner and his family are amazing people. I can't say it was bad experience ever. Drinks were always great, food always delicious. They have these amazing cheese balls, like a pull apart bread. You gotta try it! Always sanitary when I go, always friendly. You will never get that kind of service at a Starbucks or Tim Hortons.

Great place and friendly staff.

The owner took his mask off his face, wiped his nose with his hands and then continued to handle our food. He refused to give us the money back when we pointed this out. Even if this was not a global pandemic it is terribly unhygienic but during times like these you must be much more vigilant. Please avoid this place for the safety and health of you and your family.

I watched in horror as the owner removed his mask, wiped his nose with his bare hand then reached into a bag of chips and put them with our food. Covid aside that’s gross. I get people do this type of thing without thinking, the way he dealt with it is my problem. Rather than apologize and refund the food as requested he proceeded to argue with the gentleman who purchased the food, refusing to offer a refund or acknowledge any wrong doing. This is not customer service. Shame on you.

Extremely rude owner and unsanitary establishment, masks are not an accessory to appease the public they are a necessary for the safety of the community. Definitely won't be revisiting and would advise anyone to go anywhere else at the market. Thankfully there are alternative options!

I have been a customer at this (and previously the Library) location for a few years now. Given the state of traffic for downtown businesses I make it a point to have lunch here at least once a week now. My experiences have always been positive with both Raf the owner and all the staff. Good quality ingredients in prepared on site meals and baked goods from other vendors locally. It's a bit like the "Cheers" of the market coffee and lunch kiosks as you become known and appreciated quite quickly as a repeat customer. Lot's of different roasts on offer and quite a good Turkish coffee to boot. Worth a lunch stop if you are nearby or make a trip downtown and enjoy the vibe of the market and area.
