I had a very bad experience with lone star Texas grill service. I waited for skip the dishes pickup for about 45 minutes. For us the time is very important becoz we have a shift of 4 hours but they don't value the delivery drivers. Even Lone star mention in the Skip the dishes app to drivers not to come late, but they don't stand on their words. I would like to request to the manager to look after this matter or stop serving food through the app(skip/uber) if u don't have value for time and respect for delivery drivers and online customers
Awful!! Went there this past Saturday night to try it for the first time as it was my husband and I anniversary. The appetizer of deep fried pickles was inedible soo greasy, no batter on them our waiter didnt care and he brought our dinner out with no plates. The fajitas were just okay but overall the best thing was the free chips and salsa. Very overpriced! Wont be returning .
Went in to LSTG for my friends birthday, it took the food 1 hour to get to us. We asked for some ketchup both times they gave us empty bottles. We tried to ask for a third and didn’t even get one. Servers definitely were not trying to take care of us.
Very disappointed with our experience on Friday. We are normally not the kind of people to complain about service at a restaurant as we do know it is a lot of work. I also want to post this review as we really do enjoy the food and drinks and the atmosphere and want to see an improvement as it would be very sad for this restaurant to close down. Friday night we went to the rooftop patio for dinner and drinks around 8:30. There were many vacant tables and what looked like 3 or 4 servers, 2 hosts/hostess and a bartender. Not a busy night whatsoever. I am pregnant and had to use the washroom many times, and inside wasn’t busy either. Service was awful all around. Took absolutely forever for everything and no explanations or apologies were made. We witnessed one of the servers (not ours) walk around aimlessly with our drinks asking a couple tables if they were theirs, and never made it to our table, so brought it back to the bar to wait for our server to finally bring them to us. Asked for a takeout container twice and witnessed our server go behind the bar and stand around doing nothing. It very much seemed like a couple servers or hosts were trying to make themselves look busy without tending to their tables. I understand it’s hard coming back from the pandemic, which I why I tried ti be understanding. But there was plenty of staff and it was not busy at all. Like i said, we did enjoy the food and drink and atmosphere. But service is what keeps people coming back.
Maybe it is the C19 thing but this was a trip into despair. The place was understaffed and slow. The vibe was absolutely depressing. The food was sloppily put together and border line okay.
Lone Star was awesome. Friendly fast helpful service. Had our 30th Anniversary there on Friday, we had a new waitress and she was nervous but she did amazing. I don't remember her name but hats off to your wonderful uplifting spirt, you're doing great!! Thank for our Anniversary treat Lone Star. We'll be back ?
Overall a good experience! Covered patio with heaters and fireplaces to keep warm on colder days.I enjoyed the complimentary chips and salsa to start, and drink service was very quick! It did take a while to have someone ask for my food order (but that may have been a miscommunication on my part), but once my order was in, my meal came out quickly! The Margapalooza event drew me here, and the margaritas don't disappoint! Looking forward to coming back another day when they have the ingredients for the sour gummy margarita!The price point seemed reasonable for serving sizes, and they offer a discount for Western Alumni!Overall, a nice place to sit down for a meal or a drink. The servers were friendly and once I had drinks and food, they made sure no glass was empty and that I had everything I needed.
Extremely disappointed with this experience. Terrible customer service by most, if not all the staff members working during this visit. It was not a busy night, our server "Tango" had two tables, and yet it took us about 20 minutes to receive an order of drinks for three people, and when we did finally receive our drinks she forgot the waters. No big deal, until my girlfriend ordered a margarita and we watched not one, but three staff members including our server walk past it without delivering it. Our server even stopped to watch the tv set up behind the bar, near said drink. When she did finally bring it over the margarita was completely melted, liquid. Our food was delivered by the bartender, and when she brought the food to our table she did not even say hi or offer a greeting. Quite unbelieveable.Aside from the awful service, the food was meh, we all concur we would never come back here. There are many better options out there on the richmond strip.
Weakest Nachos ever. 20 bucks, barely any cheese. We added our own cheese, and put it in the oven. You owe us 20 bucks now.Also, one of our chicken fingers was a chicken wing. Wings are great, but when you bite into a chicken finger, you don't expect bones.
Maverick was our server today. She was great! We had a great visit and spot to watch soccer. Had a few margaritas then ordered some food. Asked for medium Texas butter wings, definitely did not get those. Pretty sure they were habanero hot. I order hot wings everywhere I go and these were inedible for both of us. So hot I was sick in the restroom and my husband sick when we got home. We had been looking forward to a night out finally so that was upsetting.
So after waiting 20 minutes to come back for a table because we had no reservation...a group of at least 13 people show up right before us and got in without a problem. Don’t worry though, they got to talk up the owner offering to buy a lot of drinks and tips because clearly it’s against covid rules. Then we were told to wait another half hour? Lovely. Won’t bother coming back.
I went to lone star today, to enjoy a drink on the patio with my friends. It started off good we really enjoyed the complimentary chips and salsa!We ordered drinks and food, and everything just went downhill. My friends both ordered the double bbq burger, and only one of them received it. The server came over and said her tablet froze and the order "never went to the kitchen."We waited an hour to get his new burger to go, and were never offered more drinks, we just sat there with empty cups waiting for his burger to arrive. We had to ask ourselves for drinks because it seemed as though they were trying to close down before they offered last call.Was really excited for a fun night out, but we were very disappointed. Won't be returning here.
Great customer service by everyone but specially by hurrican. Delicious food plus they made my custom mocktail.Loved the Patio
Wow first outdoor patio experience since things started to open up. Our server Junior was upbeat friendly outgoing and was always checking in on us to make sure everything was good, Both my boyfriend and I had the dos fajita steak and chicken and wow uno would of been plenty enough. The drinks were also huge and very yummy to. Overall experience goes way past a 10 and can’t wait to be back. Also enjoyed the covered patio
