Upon arriving, we waited 5 to 10 minutes to be seated, the restaurant only had about two tables so it wasn’t busy. After being seated, the wait to put in the drink order was also very long. Our food came out incorrect and once we did get the correct food, everyone else had finished eating. We received really bad service, and when we asked the waitress about it, she apologized for the bad service, but instead of offering us a discount off our meal or a free entrée, she told us about the things she was struggling with, and her personal life, and started to tell us details… which made a whole table feel very uncomfortable

We have been here before and it was great but unfortunately today it was less than worth it. Our calamari was freezer burnt, the ceasar had no seasoning rim or anything that would make it a ceasar. We ordered the fajitas and the veggies were burnt. My daughter got the kids meal and they told us after our meal that the menu is old and her desert is extra now they just don’t have new menus. When the bill came they told us they threw the desert in for her and didn’t charge us (it’s included in the menu). Not worth the drive downtown to get their signature meal and pay for parking this time.

Dinner for four. One water glass had particles floating in it. I ordered fajitas and the waitress brought quesadillas. My husband ordered ribs and they were cold. Sent them back and were brought back warm. Food was adequate. Waitress was pleasant.Parking: Pay to park beside the restaurant.

Read allot of comments about slow service, and what not.....I didn't experience any of that. I had my beer almost immediately and my meal was quick. Steak was cooked well and the sides were great too.I'd definitely come here again next time I'm in town.

Typical lonestar standard. Love the tortilla chips to start. Food is up to standard. Service was marginal without ordering much alcohol and for a small party of 2 compare to other bigger table.

We went for dinner on a Friday night and we should have realized that something was off considering that the place was three quarters empty. Meanwhile, everywhere else in the area seemed hopping. They claim that their signature drink is a margarita, and yet they were clueless on how to make one. I had 3 different types and they all missed the mark. The fried pickles and cauliflower wings were overly battered. All you could taste was the batter. We ordered the Santa Fe salad and it showed up ice cold. Like literally so cold that I thought that it came from the fridge. We barely touched it.The young lady that served us had a very good attitude but was really clueless. We had dirty dishes and glasses piled up at our table for far too long and she would bring more food and drinks and leave without removing the the dirty pile. Who trained her?Don’t even bother.

Where do I even begin? Went to lonestar expecting to have a delicious experience (it was the opposite). First off, the water I was served was warm and had no ice. Secondly, the strange chips and foul salsa they give you as an appetizer are gnarly. Then, I ordered the Texas size quesadilla, which on the menu it says it's an XL tortilla with a choice of protein (I got black beans and corn). It literally took 45 minutes to come which was perplexing because there were literally like 2 other families there. The quesadilla though - oh boy here we go. It looked like a kids sized meal served on this tiny silver tray like it was prison or something. It was so bad. There was literally no corn or beans at all, and it was overflowing with huge chunks of onion. Absolutely nothing about my quesadilla was Texas sized or anywhere near tasty. Brought the leftovers home and immediately threw it out.

I encourage future customers not to visit this place, you have very good service, I was here Wednesday afternoon the place was not busy and I had to wait 1 hour for a plate of food. the quality of the cook leaves little to be desired, I ordered 1 medium rare top sirlon dish, and what I received was a dry piece of meat and aroma of old and frozen meat.. VERY BAD EXPERIENCE.

Thank you Dolly for making out 1st visit such a memorable one...you did such an amazing job by yourself in the dining room, even with all those tables..you managers need to recognize your hard work

I first encountered this restaurant in Ottawa and Kingston, where it is extremely successful with line ups out the door. The food there is fabulous. Sadly they have bombed in London. I hadn't been in about five years. Last time I was there they didn't record the meals properly and couldn't figure out our bills as our group was ready to leave, after an hour of waiting for then to try to figure out how to bill us, they told us to leave and not to pay. Our group dropped heavy tips on the waitstaff for making an effort. Tonight I attended the restaurant at about 8:30 - there were three customers in the place. It is sad, but the food quality is not what it was, the waitress was lovely and doing her best nonetheless.

After having lunch yesterday in the restaurant, I am Soo thankful to the staff. I wasn't feeling well and unfortunately fainted by the bar. I don't recall the waitress' name that helped me after it occurred (she was working down in the bar) Jessie and the manager thank you so much for everything that you did!!Just another reason why we love this restaurant!

Myself and a few friends and family members all went for dinner to Lone Star and had an amazing experience. The waitress Trouble was very attentive and great help with menu selections. The managers Dozer and Bourbon were also absolutely amazing as they also made sure that we all have everything we needed and more. I would highly recommend this place to eat as the atmosphere is amazing and the staff is even better.

Had an amazing time at Lone Star in London tonight. Our waitress Trouble was awesome, so efficient and polite. I was so pleased to see that the manager Dozer came over several times to check and make sure everything was good and that we were happy with the service. I would highly recommend for people to try this restaurant, service was excellent and the food was perfect. We also met the other manager Bourbon who was very nice too.

I start by saying this is my first review ever and I’m no spring chicken. This restaurant had fast became our favourite lunch time destination when visiting London. But unfortunately after three bad experiences in a row you are out. I class ourselves as easy going and quite laidback. Our latest visit start with us waiting and waiting for someone to appear to seat us. Eventually my wife went and found someone. Fast forward food ordered (we are one of three couples in the restaurant). This time we order Chicken Enchiladas to change things up after our last two bad experiences, Did I say we used to love this place. Both meals arrived cold amazing considering it involves melted cheese. (restaurant 101 serve food on at least a warm plate). We didn’t want to send the food back because we have all heard the story’s about the kitchen revenge if you know what I mean. But the food was uneatable so we asked for it to be microwave. During this time a gentleman had be waiting at the bar for at least 15 minutes for service. Well the food arrived back on a cold plate lukewarm and tasteless. To top it all we had to wait for ever for the bill while the waitress had a lengthy conversation with a friend. I’m so disappointed to have to write this review!
