Food was pre ordered and was on time- however it was trash. Dinner for 5 and a couple extra things was over $120.00. Much less food then we usually get at little panda for less than 90.00.Worst egg rolls I’ve ever had in my life. They were tiny and extra hard at the ends. Seemed stale and over cooked with hardly anything in them.Deep fried Won tons had no meat in them and the centres were so hard you feared breaking a tooth. Everything else was very much lacking flavour and the red sauce tasted like it had cinnamon in it. Complete fail. Would never eat Chinese again if this is what was being served. Go elsewhere.

I wasn't very happy with the dinner for 2 . The chicken balls were very small. I'm not sure but it looked like the chicken balls you get from m and m meats. Very processed and small. We were both still hungry after eating the whole meal. The chowmain had only a couple pieces of beef in it. After I ate it I remembered that after I ordered it from.the same place a couple years ago that I swore I would never go backI paid 37.00 for a meal that was made cheap and small. If your hungry I would suggest not to order there. I will definitely remember never to go back again no matter how many years go by. That's my opinion anyway.

At first we passed this little island of a building but circled back, and wondered how we missed it. ?‍♀️ I rated atmosphere a 3 but that’s just from walking in to pick up take out. It seemed ok inside, just nothing to write home about. The service was as good as you could hope for when calling in and picking up a food order: pleasant, friendly and correct.I loved the fried rice (though I asked for extra egg and there was hardly any), the sweet and sour chicken was average, and the flavours of the vegetable dishes were excellent. My only complaint was that I found some of the vegetables slightly overcooked (eg. Broccoli)Prices were comparable. Would order from them again.Parking: On a busy street but ample parking around building.

Meh. I used to order from Lotus Garden all the time but stopped in the middle of the pandemic when they stopped answering their phones- no idea what was happening during this time but I would call and the phone would just ring forever without answer or voicemail. I thought they were closed so it’s been a long time since I’ve ordered from them. Anyway we were craving Chinese food and our usual Fortune House is closed on Tuesday so I decided to call Lotus Garden and to my surprise they answered the phone. We ordered the dinner for 2, and the bobo tray. The food all tasted the same. Egg rolls were overcooked with very little filling. Chicken balls were tiny and overcooked. Fried rice tasted burnt and the container was not full. The chow mien was ok but the container was not even close to full. Worst part it cost $68! I used to love this place but I’ll skip Chinese food on Tuesdays and stick to the Little Panda which has moved a little too far away :( or Fortune House.

I ordered their dinner for three, which was supposed to include a beef and mushroom chow mein. However, upon arriving home, I realized they had given me a beef and mushroom chop suey instead.Naturally, I called the restaurant assuming they'd recognize the mix-up and offer a resolution. Unfortunately, I was met with surprising resistance. The person on the phone insisted that the two dishes were essentially the same, despite the clear differentiation on their menu. What baffled me further was the fact that these two dishes were listed as distinct menu items with separate prices. As a member of the Wortley community, I've always believed in supporting local businesses. It's unfortunate that I found myself in this situation. This incident not only reflects a lack of attention to detail but also a concerning unwillingness to take responsibility for their errors.I value honesty and transparency in any business I support, and this experience has left a bitter taste in my mouth. It's disheartening to see a restaurant that I once thought highly of resort to such tactics.

Best Chinese food we’ve had in London. The fried rice and soup were loaded with huge chunks of meat and vegetables, the beef and chicken were tender, just a fantastic meal, delivered quickly, at a reasonable price.

This place is great. I used to live just up the road from it and now go across the city bypassing a dozen other Chinese restaurants along the way because it’s worth it. It’s not fancy, the building itself isn’t anything special but I don’t think anyone goes for the atmosphere. It’s all about the food. There is always a steady stream of customers and delivery drivers picking up takeout. We have yet to be disappointed by a single item after years of ordering. It’s been around forever and I hope it always is.

Worst food ever. Regular place we ordered closed and wanted to stay ordering in support of neighbourhood. Never again. Smallest overcooked egg rolls with minimal filling. Cantonese chowmein, 95 percent noodles barely any vegetables or meat. Chicken meat dish with snippets of chicken you had to look for. First time in history my husband said to throw out the leftovers!!!

I wish I read some of these reviews before ordering, egg rolls were terrible hardly any filing and they are so small and tuff to eat, the chicken balls well very tiny. Will not order from there again they have gone down hill such a shame

Been ordering Christmas Day for years. This year food was cold, seemed as though egg rolls had been prepared the day before. Egg Foo young was very mushy. Very disappointed this year. Almost 200 dollars, cash only and tax added. ?. Time to try a new place or start cooking Christmas dinner again.

My parents always loved lotus garden and I did as well until recently. Their quality has seemed to vanish. Egg rolls that are over cooked. Like actually burnt and almost hollow. It's sad when a great restaurant that used to be loved becomes this terrible. I won't be ordering from them ever again.

The taste is very good but they place very few vegetables and meat

Don't judge this book by the cover bc their food is soo good! One of the best in London!! I would definitely say though, not for fine dining, only why I gave ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
