I really enjoyed dining at MADO especially since the prices are really relevant for the quality and quantity of the food. The food is really tasty and you can tell the food was made from fresh products. The decor is really pleasing and neat. The bathrooms and bakery were clean. Would recommend checking out and having lunch with family and friends or even business meetings and events to empress your guests!!! The food reminds me of Turkey especially the ice cream, kunefes, Turkish delights and baklavas. Would come back!!!

A week ago, I spotted a new restaurant in Masonville mall. It’s called MADO and focuses on Turkish cuisine. MADO functions as a bakery and ice creamery as well.Starting with an entreé, I ordered Beyti Kebab. This dish’s ingredients were meatballs, red onions with sumac, kashar cheese, a thin layer of buttery tortilla bread, and their chef’s special tomato sauce.As I noticed their wide array of desserts, my server gave some recommendations. She pointed out Matilda’s Wet Cake is popular among chocolate lovers. She said they are known for their ice cream as well. So I decided on the Wet Cake with ice cream, and Kazandibi (milk pudding with a burnt top layer).My meal came to an end with a cherry smoothie. It was okay, but I’ve had better.I paid just over $60.This place had a couple faults. At the beginning of my meal, I had ordered their fresh grapefruit juice. They mistakenly brought me orange juice instead. Second, their online menu does not match up with what they serve. This is especially problematic because they do not give you a menu that you can touch and flip through. They rely totally on their online menu.
