We had a fantastic authentic Mexican meal! The owner was lovely, warm and welcoming and kept bringing delicious dishes to our table. Homemade guacamole was my favourite. Definitely recommend for a real, authentic Mexican meal!

My husband and I were in London after having left 25 years ago for Nova Scotia. Looking for authentic Mexican food, we found this restaurant and it blew us away. We felt like we were in Alfonso's home in Mexico, the way it is decorated and his friendly personality. We allowed him to pick our food and we were not disappointed at all. Everything he served, was just delicious, fresh and authentic. If I closed my eyes, I could have been in Mexico. Everything is local and prepared onsite. He gave us a tour and showed us how everything was handmade. He takes great pride in his profession. I had a taco that was his grandmother's speciality and my husband had a beef one that had a bite to it. The freshly squeezed juices were absolutely fresh and wonderful. We didn't have time or we would have gone back again, because we enjoyed the food and talking to Alfonso in his beautiful restaurant. If we had to say anything, it's his prices should be higher for the quality of his food, they are very inexpensive. Don't let the little hole in the wall scare you away, you have to try it for yourself. It's like you get entertainment with your meal, as he brings each dish to the table with such joy, and the passion he has as he explains what you have and how to eat it. We highly recommend this place and a chat with Alfonso--a very charming, interesting man. We wish him well and plan on going back next time we are in London.

El dueño del lugar es una persona nefasta, nos atendió mal, le pregunté que platillos mexicanos tenían fuera de los tacos y me comenzó a cuestionar si yo era mexicano, preguntando que platos conocía de Mexico, yo solo vengo a consumir y usted solamente debe atender bien a a los clientes que consumen en su restaurante pero en este lugar pasa todo lo contrario este Jalisco piensa que necesitamos de su comida jajaja todavía le pido pozole y me dice que tiene pero congelado, en que restaurante venden pozole congelado en Jalisco ? Si será mexicano ?

This is easily the best Mexican food I've had in Canada! We ordered a mix of tacos, they were all very fresh tasting, the meat was super tender and so flavourful but the adobo one was extra amazing. The owner is very passionate about his food and it shows! The tostada is so delicious and the homemade tortillas are beyond delicious. Highly recommend and we will be coming back over and over.

Handmade organic corn tortillas served with the most tender meats.... you need to try this place to understand what I’m talking about!!! This “hole-in-the-wall” restaurant blew me away! Never thought I’d find something so delicious in London, Ontario! One visit made me a fan for life.... and I’m sure one visit will make you a fan, too!!! You gotta try it!

The charge 'filtered' water for $4. Just like other reviews said the owner tried to get us to try something else than we ordered. We didn't fall for it and he asked us again and again. The wait time is unbelievable, there was another table that were some old customer or something, the owner was just chatting with them instead making the food while other 3 tables waited. They charge $7 for a taco and the protion is tiny! The flavor is just alright not worth the bad service and wait time. Won't come again.And the water is $4.

The food here is amazing but there's definitely a lot of room to improve with the service. When they ask you if you want to "try something" don't assume it's free, you will get charged for it. It was frustrating when we went for lunch and it wasn't busy. It took over two hours from walking in the door to paying and leaving. They did not provide an itemized bill either.
