My buddy and I went to Rose’s Tree of Life for the first time last night and it was beyond exceptional. The food was insanely amazing and I cannot say enough good things about the service as well. We were both craving some hearty food and this was it. 10/10 would recommend to anyone and everyone!

Unequivocally the best patty I've ever ate. What really stands out is the filling has better flavour and texture than any patty I've ever had. Combine that with the perfect ratio of outside crust to filling and that's what makes this patty so incredible. Also the atmosphere was nice and the staff were chill and kind. 10/10 had a patty better than I thought was possible.

Ordered Roti from here before and it was delicious and good portion.Tonight however was the opposite, very small portion, chick peas were hard, potatoes cooked but barely. Plain, bland as if the filling wasn’t stewed long.Very disappointed ?

First time trying this place for lunch and wow, the jamaican patties here are phenomenal. Considering the pretty decent size and quality, they were fairly priced too, 6 for $25, that's almost the same as two whoppers at Burger King so do the math. The spicy patties are awesome, not too overbearing on the heat but just enough to be part of the flavour, so whether you love spicy food or not I recommend giving those a shot. If these patties are a precursor for quality of the rest of the dishes here then I will definitely be coming back to try what else they have to offer. Big thumbs up!

I love veggie roti and this was good. Lots (but not too much) cumin curry taste. Great mix of veggies (without a bunch of filler onions). Super soft and perfectly flaky roti. 100% the best roti I've had in a long while. Thank you!

My husband lived in Guyana as a teenager but hasn't been back in over 20 years. Everywhere we go, he buys a veggie roti, trying to find that taste of childhood and Rose's roti literally made him tear up :') He says his heart feels as full as his belly! You can't get higher praise than that! Warm staff and great atmosphere, too. So goooood! What a wonderful thing food can be! Was a little sceptical at first with the bad comments I read but decided to still try this place out. First of all the owner was very friendly. Secondly the chicken rotti was filled with flavors and had the exact amount of spice! The dough was perfect and the filing was delicious. I would definately order from there again. We also ordered the fried chicken with bean rice..my husband would have liked more then 2 pieces of chicken but he seemed to enjoy it still.UPDATE: just got the ox tail and it's soooo good!
