The rooftop view is nothing short of breathtaking, making it the perfect backdrop for enjoying a wide selection of innovative cocktails crafted by expert bartenders.

First and last experience, I had arrived a bit earlier and called them 10 minutes prior to our table time to tell them that we would be 10-15' late, the lady on the phone ensured that there was no problem, after my partner arrived and we went to the reception to get checked in the lady said to us that we would have to wait as our table was released because we arrived late, I proceeded to explain that I had called and showed her the call, we were sent upstairs. At this point everything was a mess, the lady at the reception didn't know anything, I showed her the call and explained her the situation, their internal communication clearly didn't fail, we were told that there was a table available or if we would prefer to wait for a better table, we decided to wait. Shortly after the lady comes again to apologize and offer a table further back, she told us that we had a window table but it was released because we were late, at this point the situation felt ridiculous, the lady was constantly trying to blame on us the problem completely ignoring the fact that we called them. Once we got sited the manager showed up to try to speak to us, he basically proceeded to explain their rules and stuff after we explained the situation, he completely ignored that evidential facts that we were discussing, he started talking over my partner, his face was getting red as he was not liking what we were saying to him, we weren't happy but we weren't rude, in the end he left and not in a good way, this guy is not only absolutely unprepared to be a manager but he is also not suitable for customer service jobs, surprising being an Italian guy at a high end place. We ended up leaving without getting any food, the service was disgusting and we didn't feel like giving our money away to such place, it is hard to believe that Shangri-la accepts this kind of service blaming customers when they are proving to you the facts, definitely not going nor recommending this place. Been 10 years in London and I know that the average service is mediocre being optimistic but you wouldn't expect this at such premium place with such high prices, shameful.

Came in for drinks having booked the Sky Lounge but turns out this is just a small area on the reception floor, with a few tables but only a handful near the windows which offer a restricted view anyway, so not the best place at the Shard to have a drink - choose one of the other venues which have more seating and more window space and wider views. The drinks were exorbitantly expensive (we weren't expecting them to be cheap at what must be one of the best hotels in London, but £10 for a bottle of Tiger beer an £15 for a 125ml Sauvignon Blanc seemed excessive.

The Sky Lounge Bar decor is classy and service is professional. It is a great place to relax and chat over cocktails (and dine any time )!

Wow! It’s our 2nd time & celebrated our daughter’s 7th bday w/ a nice brunch. The entire team went above and beyond from Simona, Noni, Viola, Jojo, Asoree to Tatiana. They were all outstanding and yes I asked for all their names to personally thank them. The menu/drinks offered a wide variety. Overall a great experience, food, drinks, ambiance & service was superb. The view is totally worth it. I’m a huge advocate for breast cancer awareness and it was nice to see the place decorated with pink ribbons. Hope to visit again!

Reasons why I love Shangri-la: View: we got to The Shangri-la around 5:40 for 6:00pm dinner to have pictures before dinner. Yemi instructed us to go to 35th to have pictures and confirmed that we have window seat. Lauren and Anshika took our jackets and instructed us how to use the QR code for the menu. We downloaded them before coming to one of the iconic and famous building in London. Food: great variety of food to choose from . we had Malaysian fried rice, tuna tartare, sea bass, noodles, monkfish and tamarind prawns. I was thinking of getting the salmon, 5 spices beef and but I guess we have to come back for it and make space for dessert. Ambiance: the music are great that matches the type of place I would like whilst I eat. Service: topnotch. Service provided by Emilio and Jade. Managers Marco and Andrea came and visited our table to make sure we are having the best time and comfortable. We didn’t feel pressured that we need to occupy the seat for 2 hours. Overall, best place to dine with an overlooking thames river and tower bridge view and lots of food to choose from and best service. I have no doubt, and definitely recommend to friends and family all over the world. I can’t even wait to post our pictures in social media. We had the best time and even gain new friends. Thank you TING for the great and memorable experience.

I'm only giving 3 marks because family gifted us a 3 course meal as an anniversary present which was lovely of them but that costs £92 & we paid 15% service on top of that; cocktails are £20 + 15%, wine starts at £100 =15% so a nice present turned into an expensive night out, which would possibly have been fine except the food wasn't anything special either, nice but not in any way outstanding. you're on the 34th floor with great views but at £300 for two I can't say I was impressed.

Travelled from York to London for the day specifically to enjoy the View from The Shard & then have a special lunch to celebrate my son passing his GCSE’s. Whilst the view was fantastic the same cannot be said for the Sky Lounge. The server was unfriendly & disinterested, she clearly had somewhere else she would have rather been. The food was disappointing, burger dry, cheese was missed from burger & brought on side plate so not melted. Salad whilst having a tasty sauce was underwhelming. If you charge higher end prices you need to provide higher end food. My son & I had our plates cleared despite my husband & daughter still eating & then we were promptly reminded we had only 30 minutes left of our reservation despite the lounge being virtually empty. At this point we decided to cut our loses & avoid ordering further drinks & desserts. Lunch alone managed to remove the shine of my son’s special day, I will absolutely not return & certainly would not recommend the Sky Lounge!

I had an incredible dining experience at Skybar! The service provided by Simone was simply exceptional he was attentive, friendly, and always ready with recommendations. The food was a delightful symphony of flavors and Beautiful. From appetizers to dessert, each dish was a masterpiece. The ambiance and breathtaking view from the restaurant added to the overall charm of the evening. Amazing cuisine and outstanding service, is truly a gem worth visiting, I can wait to go back and make new memories!

This restaurant had a great view over England’s capital, London. My dad got the “Bò Xào Lúc Lāc” 5 spices Beef with rice, and he loved every bite of it. My mum got a shang burger and it was the juicest and tastiest burger ever. I also got the shang burger, and I LOVED it! They even give you posh olives and pistachios which were free! I was eating my burger, when I started coughing. The waitress came over and asked if I wanted water. We all got a water for free. The toilets were phenomenal, heated toilet seats, phone chargers in the toilet booths (?!?!?!) and you can wash your hands while looking at the amazing skyline view of St Pauls Cathedral and the London Eye. It is an expensive restaurant, but it is worth it. I definitely recommend the Sky Lounge.
