I came here for the third time with a friend, and had an amazing meal. We split the bang bang shrimp (always consistently 10/10), the jalapeno mac and cheese, and the fish tacos. Everything was so good. I also had the hot honey margarita which was absolutely delicious, and I find typically margaritas are hit-and-miss. This is my go-to restaurant in London now.

I was pleasantly surprised by this place. Great quality food, friendly atmosphere, clean and spacious dining area. Even though they were busy when we came, our order was ready reasonably fast and tasted delicious. I would say that this is definitely one of the best places for a great dinner in London.

I wouldn't normally write a review for take-out but the overall experience here was too good not to. Greeted by Emily (I think that was her name) who was very pleasant and offered options as it was going to be a quick lunch for me. I went for the fish tacos. Now, generally speaking, take-out isn't always the best quality and/or presentation but the kitchen here nailed both. Absolutely delicious. Shout out to Wanda the manager here for a job well done. Yes, I went back in and shared my experience face to face with her and she was very thankful for the positive feedback. Definitely encourage those who are reading this to check it out for yourselves!! Thank you.

We really enjoy the atmosphere at State & Main as well as the decor. The service is always friendly and the food very consistent with an excellent variety of menu items. We like their Thursdsy night wine by the bottle promotion too. It is definitely an adult restaurant on the bar side later in the evening, but through the day or for an early dinner the dining side is fine for kids. Our grandchildren like going there.

Mac and cheese is always a solid pick. Can’t really mess that up. But this was the first time I got the enchilada based off the servers recommendation. It was that or the burger or fish and chips. I was hungry so I ate it but it wasn’t anything special. Mostly tortilla and then tortilla chips to eat more tortilla, just no filling, all lettuce on top. She said it was spicy and had jalapeño… I didn’t taste any spice. Barely saw any jalapeño. It was meh, $19 for that maybe isn’t worth it. I usually get apps when I go there so I’ll stick to that next time. It’s been hit or miss with the main courses. I think the issue is the flow of traffic, a lot of restaurants are experiencing this right now. Higher food costs, less people eating out. It will all translate into the customer experience. Staff are always friendly.

First time in this restaurant. For starter, we ordered a Margherita Flatbread, It was tasty, a good size to share up to 4 people, but a bit spicier than what we expected. My main dish, as you can see on the photo, was the Truffle & Shrimp Rigatoni. ABSOLUTELY DIVINE. I finished the night sharing a Cinnamon Bun Bread Pudding, a good surprise for me because the desserts have a separate menu, so when I placed my order with starter and main dish, I though we wouldn't have a dessert to end the meal. it has a balanced amount of sweetness on it, we loved it. Last but not least, I must apreciate Alana, as she took care of us and she was very friendly and attentive.
