Second time that I had a bad experience, definitely never coming back. Issues with our meals, food was not good, last time service was disappointing.

We got the features of the day which were lamb with roast potatoes in a Dijon cream sauce. Lamb was cook perfectly medium rare and the sauce was delicious.BF got the trout pappardelle. He didn't love it and would not recommend it.We started with the pulled pork hush puppies. They were pretty good but needed more pulled pork in the center.Server was attentive and atmosphere was quite but not dead.Overall, not bad. Definitely an interesting menu. If you go, try the Heman's peach strawberry cider best part of the night.

My wife. For lunch on her Birthday. Choose this restraunt. One of her favs.Other than being a little chilly. It was a great experience all around, and a nice touch towards pampering this dear lady on an important day.I do recommend you make a reservation. We went back for another dinner. Last minute decision on a Monday night. They are open until 10, not many restaurants are.

Excellent service. Our entrees were absolutely delicious ( black bean enchilada, porchetta) wine, coffee ..no complaints whatsoever in that regard. Would certainly recommend. However, as a pre-theatre dining experience, extremely noisy, could not converse. That did become a bit frustrating. We left with headaches (Sorry, perhaps that is unavoidable. Proximity to theatre, a likely reason). Sad to spend $100+ and be unable to enjoy each other's company. Will definitely return. Just not on a theatre night.

Great food and service. Showed up and ordered a bunch of appetizers and some salads. The Duck confit salad was absolutely delicious. The mushroom spread and skewers were also amazing. We didnt have a reservation which i highly recommend getting but they made room for us at the bar. Brett was on top of everything at all times.

There is a cozy atmosphere here. The food was excellent.... and there is something different and refreshing in their food prep, a bit of a unique taste in what they do. It was very good.

One of my favorite restaurants. I've tried half of the menu (and some of the specials) and have yet to be disappointed.Vegetarian options: The halloumi and smoked mushroom dip are my favorite things on the menu... both vegetarian.

I've visited the Church Key frequently through the years for special occasions and pre theater. I have never been anything but impressed. Unique, amazing food. Impeccable service. Upscale but still cozy and classy with a true pub decor. Several years later, still my best go to place for a special night.

Great atmosphere, the staff is very friendly and the wooden interiors give it an elegant heritage vibe. Food was good too, though I would have liked more options on the menu including some vegan and vegetarian options. Overall, good experience!

My husband and I used to go here quite often while he was living there. He'd moved so it'd been a few years since we'd been able to go back. We finally had the chance to and we had a mixed reaction! While the entrees were still good, the service was amazing and we like the atmosphere, we were SO disappointed they stopped serving the pretzel bread. This was one of our favourite parts of coming here as it was served warm, was super fresh, served with a delicious dijon butter. We were informed they still offer it but for a price - we went ahead and ordered it, but it was not the same at all - it was dry and almost falling apart. Our server explained they'd had issues with the bread hence them no longer offering it upon arrival. Anyway - while the food was still good, we really wish they had the old pretzel bread as it was just so delicious!!

Went there for lunch the first time around and it was a very loud atmosphere so if you want that quieter dining experience at lunch then maybe somewhere else is good. Went more recently for dinner, the energy was a bit more subdued - i should mention that comments on atmosphere are NOT negative just want people to be aware, we were not bothered. Food was good and drinks as usual in any restaurant- over priced but hey drinks! I recommend this place, it’s a great spot in downtown London!
