Came for a dinner date with my hubby around 8 on a Saturday. We were able to get a table for two near the high bar without having made a reservation; so there was no wait time, which was a plus. The drinks we order were delicious (especially the rivera girl) and came quick but a little pricey in my opinion ($14 and $16 for 2oz). The tacos were okay, not great but not the worst, however, they were extremely overpriced. Even after asking the waiter about the cost and size, who said three were more than filling, the tacos were easily done in two bites (a.k.a way too small to be considered a meal) and did not justify the $7 price point. If it were to cost $7 for 2 tacos, I wouldn’t have been nearly as disappointed.Overall the atmosphere was a more casual experience, perfect for a date, but the food and drink prices were too much for us to want come back.

Two of us went around 530 pm on a Monday ( not busy for the industry ) we were sat by the host and our server arrived around 10 -15 mins after. We obviously knew food and beverage at this point ( also mind you having a new server shadow )We placed our beverage , starter and our tacos.Starter arrived before our drinks ! We ordered the Queso Fundido when the server returned with our drinks , I asked if the Queso was suppose to be hot ?! They responded with "like in temperature ?" I said yes its cold ...the response I was given " I can reheat it under the heat lamp !!! " I said no thank you ... I was turned off by this point. ( everyone in the industry should know proper internal temperatures and how to bring up to temperatures safely )Our tacos arrived and we were very dissapointed the protiens were dry and lacked flavor. Our server didnt even touch the table and the server shadowing is the one who cleared and brought us our bill. For 117.00 I felt robbed and left very dissapointed .We will not be returning and when people ask me how the mule was ? I will give my honest opinion.

I went to this place with my family on Good Friday for lunch. They were extremely friendly and accommodating! Their entire kitchen is gluten free which is a HUGE selling point for us because my husband has celiac’s disease. My brother also has allergies which they were very careful about, and in fact asked if there were any allergies at the table before putting our order in. My 6 year old really liked the dip dip dip hooray (specifically the bean dip) and my husband was excited to try the fried chicken taco - he hasn’t had fried chicken in a restaurant since he stopped eating gluten. I had the cease and desist taco and the fried chicken taco, which were both very tasty. My daughter wanted a dessert to go and after checking that it would be okay, the server came back with a pot de crème in a mason jar and simply asked that we return the jar to any mule location (which I will do when we come back for our next meal). I don’t know if they normally do that but the fact that there’s no garbage to throw out is awesome. They even wrote down a description of the pot de crème so we could remember when we got home! The staff were excellent and we will 100% go back again. I’m excited to try more of their drinks. I had the Rumours from Inez cocktail which was delightful.Dietary restrictions: 100% gluten free kitchen and accommodating to other allergies as wellParking: Depending on when you go, there may be lots of parking or it may be harder to find a spot.Wheelchair accessibility: NOT wheelchair accessible to get inside. There is a step to go in the door. Once you’re in, there are two levels but I’m sure they’d accommodate putting you on the first floor if you could get up the step outside.

Very good, and similar to the location in Hamilton. Glad to see the quality has deteriorated as they expand locations. Although a bit pricey compared to some other small really good local tacos shops, it's worth it and a good vibe. Food comes fast too, so it makes for a good quick stop or they have an abundance of margs for a nice night out.

Some friends were excited to try this place, so I went with them. The atmosphere was nice and the service was good, but the lack of purely vegan tacos was disappointing (though some can be made vegan if you ask which is a good start).I ordered the Bomba Tostada, which the server said was a “large portion” and gestured that it was quite big. When it came out I was disappointed to have paid $10 for something so small (Photo 1). It was essentially a flat taco for $3 extra.I also ordered vegan versions of the Brussels Sprout and Sweet Potato Halloumi. They were decent tacos, but not great. At $7 a piece, I was expecting something with much better flavour. In the end, I left having paid $36 (not including a tip) for what was basically 3 tacos and 1 beer and was still very hungry.Vegetarian options: Very limited vegan options.Dietary restrictions: Entirely gluten-free restaurant.

So Los Lobos is around the corner. You'd be happier going there cause this restaurant is trying hard to be them, costs more, serves you less food and it isn't as delicious. Plus the atmosphere is werid. It's an old fancy restaurant historically that looks like someone did a bunch of crack in and went to town with a sharpie then decided they had decorated enough. We recieved multiple apps with dishes half full (Fundido, Burro Bean Dip) and by the end, we had still a half tray of chips in each. We tried the Papas Bravas but for $13 dollars we maybe got 2 medium potatoes worth of fries....maybe and they were undercooked. They were out of multiple dishes and hot sauce. The tacos were okay but not authentic in taste and lacked flavor (Cod, Sweet Potato, Brussel). In a table of 4, we all agreed we wouldn't come back.If you are gonna charge premium prices but gouge me over in every category ( tiny portions, mediocre quality), you only need to come once to know you won't ever be coming back and I hope this review saves you that.Visit Los Lobos instead.
