We shared a bunch of appetizers and each one was amazing. Ben was a perfect server, advice when we wanted it and space when appropriate. Busy just before the theater but fun with the hustle and bustle. We are definitely going back.

We called this place and made dinner reservations for Saturday, April 20, 2024. We arrived earlier than 5 to see if they could accommodate us. We told them we had reservations, they could not find us. Their record of reservations were scribbled all over a sheet of paper, in no order what so . ever. He asked us what name they were under, we told him, he had no record of it. His managerlooked at it and said “ If you made a reservation, your name would be on that sheet”. He would NOT take our word for them! He indicated that people do this all the time. We DO NOT recommend this place to eat for this reason. After his doubting words we left and found anotherlovely spot, with No reservations down the street. You can NOT count on your reservations at all!

I was waiting for a concert to finish, so I walked around London for a while, until I stumbled across this restaurant. I gave the Ribeye a shot, and I was beyond blown away. Not only were the servings huge (16 oz), but it was, without a doubt, the best steak I've ever had. If it was possible to rate this place higher than 5 stars, I'd gladly do it.

The appetisers were very good, the 16 Oz Ribeye was prepared perfectly and the sides were very good. Perfect meal. Our server Benjamin was very attentive and his service was on point. Recommend you go without hesitation.

Good with no clear misses, but nothing astounding or excellent.Beef carpaccio accompaniments are good, horseradish cream in particular is nice. Beef itself is decent quality.Garlic artichoke dip is delicious but perhaps a bit light on the artichoke itself - flavours are mostly garlic and cheese. Extra toast was complimentary.Grilled ribeye was also quite good. Nice char on it and they separated it for us into two separate plates which I really appreciated. Garlic mash was delicious and green beans were sweet, albeit slightly overcooked. I also would have preferred a different type of compound butter instead of chipotle. Actually quite a good deal to split it between two people as the main.Overall, no real complaints. All the food was good and the service was attentive, it's just nothing here is particularly innovative or unique nor the best version of any of these foods I've eaten before.

Classic dishes done well. We had the calamari, steak tips, olives and spinach and artichoke dip to start. Calamari was lightly dusted and crispy and well seasoned. Steak tips were tender and flavourful. Artichoke dip was luscious. Wish the olives were warm.Mains were rack of lamb, beef cheeks, crab stuffed chicken and the seafood pasta. My lamb was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Everyone enjoyed their mains. All meats served with green beans, meh.Service was great, perhaps a tad slow but it was a very busy night and we weren’t in a rush.Will go back.

The food was so good! My favourite was the mac and cheese (very cheesy) appetizer during lunch. I also really liked the grilled cheese since it had pesto in it (tasted the same as Starbucks’ tomato and mozzarella on focaccia sandwich). Great place for lunch or dinner and it has fast service!

Our server, the D Man, was spot on with suggestions and timing of beverages and food. Both food and drinks were top notch. This experience could not have been any better. In fact we even told our cab driver to recommend The Tasting Place to everyone.
