Man! Has that place gone down. It used to be our favourite place for produce - quality and variety. During Covid and shortly after it seemed to have become some sort of back-ally quality - produce was just shabby. Haven't been there in 9 months or so. Went this week: they are trying to do some facelift , rearranging teh produce section and pre-packing everything. While it may look nicer, it's less variety, and the fact that everything is already packaged not only does this add to more unnecessary plastic waste, but also it does;t allow you to chose the amount of produce you like and need to buy more than you actually need (leading again to waste, ultimately). Bought a few frozen item-- all of which have as it turned out terrible freezer burn.Good Bye, United. You are not our store anymore.

Extremely unhygienic food preparation. I have asked the man who serves the food several times to wash his hands and when he does he just runs them under water and then grabs a rag that's been sitting in the sink. No soap, no waiting for the water to get hot. I personally saw him pushing a cart with an uncovered shoulder of beef, and when he noticed customers were waiting, he pushed the cart into the back room, came right out and started serving customers without washing his hands. At least five times I have gone there and this man has not washed his hands and when I ask him to wash his hands, he just runs it under water for a couple seconds and then grabs a dirty rag.

Place is very hit and miss...Unfortunately last time I went, not good at all.. low quality food. The spicy chicken tasted awful. Place looks very unsanitary. The orange and sweet and sour chicken was just pure batter.. no chicken whatsoever existed..Service could be better.This place has so much potential in that area but management completely lacking.

Love United Market, it offers many great products for Asians! I recently moved from Toronto to London, and have shopped around most of supermarkets in the area. Especially, there is a small section for Japanese and Korean cosmetics and groceries, such as Shiseido Anassa sunscreen, Tsubaki hair masks and other awesome products and prices are lower than Amazon. I hope they can offer Tsubaki shampoo and conditioner. Hope quality is good as I can’t see English in some products.

I really want to continue to support United through COVID so I was excited when they offered delivery, but they need to work out a lot of customer service issues. First delivery from them took about 5 hours, the delivery came in an oily filthy box, and my frozen food was defrosted. Second delivery was quick but they delivered it to the wrong house, accused me of stealing the food, much of the food was coated in raw seafood juice, and they also forgot a whole bag of groceries. There's no way of reaching customer service about it. Everything on their website is spelled wrong so you can't find anything. They need to try just a little bit harder if they want to survive in these times.

The prices and produce are good. Sometimes the some things on sale are because they are old. The people behind the meat counter are not customer friendly or the cashiers. I stood at the meat counter ready for someone to take my order but his phone rang so he answered it and left the counter so I could not get any meat, no one to serve you. The cashiers are unfriendly and don't say a word not even hello. They need better customer service.
