I recently dined at this Arab restaurant during iftar time, and while the ambiance was cozy with only four tables available, it provided an intimate setting for breaking the fast. The lentil with goat meat was exceptionally flavorful, setting a promising tone for the meal. However, while the chicken kebab was enjoyable, the beef kebab turned out disappointingly dry. On a positive note, the fries were deliciously seasoned and the portion sizes were generous, especially the ample amount of rice provided. Overall, my experience fell somewhere in the middle – the quantity of food was satisfying, but the taste didn't quite meet my expectations.

If you’re in London this restaurant is hands down the best restaurant! Amazing food. The owner Muhammad is a special person. If you have never been here, you will have a wait because it is authentic official charcoal grilled. Great food takes time…… but 100% well worth the wait. The prices are very reasonable and get the peri peri hot sauce.
My recent experience with Val's restaurant for a delivery order was far from satisfactory. Despite my hopes for a convenient and enjoyable meal, I was met with disappointment on multiple fronts.First and foremost, the communication and coordination regarding my delivery order were severely lacking. There was a noticeable lack of updates or transparency regarding the status of my order, leaving me in the dark and uncertain about when to expect its arrival. This lack of communication only added to the frustration of an already disappointing experience.When my order finally did arrive, the quality of the food left much to be desired. Items were poorly packaged, resulting in spillage and a mess upon arrival. Additionally, the food itself was underwhelming in terms of taste and freshness, failing to meet the standard of quality I had hoped for from Val's.Furthermore, the customer service provided during this ordeal was sorely lacking. Instead of addressing my concerns with empathy and professionalism, the staff seemed indifferent to my dissatisfaction, further souring my impression of the restaurant.Overall, my delivery experience with Val's restaurant was a disappointment from start to finish. The lack of communication, subpar food quality, and indifferent customer service have left me with little desire to patronize this establishment again in the future.

Top notch charcoal BBQ food, probably the best in London. I can't make sense of the lower reviews but some of them seem to be related to service. The food is phenomenal. The chicken wings are just amazing. Try one of the family platters to try a little bit of everything... really good!

The food took a long time and you always lie about the timing to finish the order. He shouted at me and my son last time since we were wondering why he did not confirm our DoorDash order after 2 hrs! He said I will only give you food due to your poor hungry kid !!!We were not begging him for food and he was very disrespectful to us and to his employees.One of the employees wanted to give us the chicken but he threatened him and told him let them suffer in the line and wait like anyone else!!!Really we wanted to support halal business but this guy is below standardsThe bad Val guys

They take too long to give people there food I came it 3:50 and I got it at 4:40
Had a late night meal from their Richmond location and it was incredibly disappointing. For $26, I got two skewers with a third of the takeout container of rice, no salad, and no bread. The young man behind the counter said he was running low on rice, but we didn't expect that it was going to be that little, or that we wouldn't get a supplementary item to make up the misaing part of the meal, or that we would be charged full price.

One of the worst restaurants on London, the worst customer service ever and their workers don’t respect people and they serve their friends first and other customers should wait for hours I came today and I was fasting waiting to order and the girl didn’t serve me and she was very rude, she also saying bad words to customers her name is wonsa I hope that the manager fire her because she make all customers upset. You guys don’t even deserve a star

What an absolute disrespect for customers and people’s time. I waited two hours for one chicken, and it is not the first or second time that has happened. They don’t care about the people that support their restaurant and don’t care at all about any complaints you make.
