“Pizza pizza had this stereotype that’s why we avoided it for so long but we had to make an emergency stop here after 4 hours being on the road. My wife and I got two different pizzas and some wings. Pizzas were amazing, not bathe in butter thus not too greasy. We added two more orders of the wings cause it was that good! Haven’t had this brand for 7 years but this was a great experience. I can’t remember her name but I recall that it ended with Lyn. Shout out to her for cleaning the already cleaned highchair before offering for my daughter! That’s what we call going over and beyond duty.“

“Amazing Pizza!!! Customer service was very helpful and friendly. Garlic butter crust is super good, and their garlic-parm dipping sauce was definitely one of a kind! The boneless chicken bites are large and lightly coated with breading.. unlike most places.“

“Cyranos is about service and ambiance. We have had some of the best restaurant service ever at Cyranos, though kitchen is sometimes slow. On our last visit, a meal took 1hr to arrive but we were comp'd a glass of wine, which suited us fine.The food is good, but not outstanding. IMO, flavors and preparation are excellent but food is under-spiced/salted - the crowd is a bit older, so the chef may be catering correctly to it ?.Overall, Cyranos is a great place to grab a classy date-night dinner in the west end of Ottawa.Dietary restrictions: They can accommodate Gluten Free for pasta but not much else.“

“Had dinner here with friends and our young daughter. We hadn’t been since pre-pandemic and it was just as lovely.I had the taco salad (veg) which was excellent. My daughter wanted a grilled cheese - which wasn’t on the kids menu - and they very kindly made one for her.Decent draft beer selection and a varied menu!“

“Im probably very Bias as it comes to pizza pizza but it is honestly my favourite fast food pizza in Ontario.The pizza is thin with a lot of sauce and for me the right amount of cheese. I've grown up liking it when all my friends say it tastes like cardboard. The Creamy Garlic is also a must try dip there.For chicken wings they're probably some of the best ive had for a great price. “Great flavours to choose from and a great variety of toppings to choose from. It's a self serve frozen yogurt place, so you can mix and match and have as much or as little as you want. You pay based on the weight. There are tables so you can sit and enjoy, or you could take it to go. Now they even serve cheesecake factory cheesecakes by the slice or entire cakes. Super fun place to take the kids.“

“Have been buying from Gabriel's Baseline Road location for many years and have always been very happy with the food and the service. We buy mainly the pizzas and wings and both are very good. The owner is a really pleasant guy, and from our family's experience he's taken good care of us as customers over the years. My only real complaint is the call centre ... and it's not the staff. The system they use is often very slow and recently, has been on a "backup" system for several months which has prevented me from ordering the special I would like. Was stunned when I called back several weeks after the original call and was told that special was still not available. Really? Fix the damned system. I'll just go to the store ...“

I am aware there is another location in Barrhaven but my review is concentrated to this location in Manotick. The location does not look like much on the surface or even inside the establishment. You could drive past this place without giving it a second thought had it not been for the large signs placed at the entrance of the main gate to the parking lot. The inside is of contemporary design but is rather small.However, where the place may lack in aesthetic makes up for in food. The first thing I smelt as I parked the car was the burgers being made inside this establishment. A crucial element and one that made me wanting to try here even more desirable.As I entered, it was not particularly busy so I got to order right away. The menu had a variety of options while being straight forward and not overbearing. Options are great but too many make it complex to manage and difficult for the consumer to know what to choose. There are 9 burgers total. Four of which are purely beef. Two are chicken, one is vegetarian, one is haddock and one is a mix of beef and chicken called "Mega Burger."I decided to order the 12oz "Big Double Burger" with all the toppings and a poutine as a side with a Coca Cola.As a note, the service was good. Hospitable staff made for a family friendly environment.A point of criticism, I was not pleased to know that after I had ordered, that cheese is not included as a topping that almost all other establishments I attended used as a topping at no extra charge.No matter, I'll let the burger speak for itself. When it was ready, I was eager to try. Presentation 3.9/5. Being that it is a large burger with all the toppings it does make things a little messy if you are not careful in the assembly process. The toppings were fresh and beyond my expectations. The side order of poutine was good. Good amount of cheese and gravy. The fries were crisp and cooked well. Although, the true winner in this whole meal is the quality and taste of the beef. It is by far one of the best burgers I could have ordered. Very pleased and left satisfied.So this brings us to the end and back to the question I began with. Who makes the best burger? In the context of Ottawa and the area I think it is fair to contend that Burgers & Shakes Inc make the best burger.Overall: 4.5/5 - I highly recommend.“
