What kind of coffee shop doesn't open until 9:30am!!!!!

If I could give them -10 stars I would. I purchased decaf cappuccino with almond milk, and I noticed that the almond milk was darker than usual. Shortly after consuming it I became ill. I returned to the cafe and asked for my money back. The rude manager flatly refused to reimburse me, and when I told him that I will call head office, he replied that he does not care. I contacted the head office, but Istill didn’t get any response. Stay clear from this place if you care about your health.

The best coffee place. I had their latte and a Date desert and it was delicious. Would highly recommend for a nice breakfast or lunch or just a cup of your favourite coffee.

A very nice cozy cafe with good food. You can't go wrong with an Aroma. My only complaint about this location is they really need blinds that shutter away some of the sun, everyone sitting in the cafe moves the furniture away from the glaring sun coming through the windows. We all end up sitting huddled, tables really close to one another, while the bright and hot areas sit vacant. It's hard to believe management hasn't noticed this.

I get my coffee here usually and it hasn’t been the same taste that I used to get before, the new workers they hired are utterly slow and don’t know how to make a simple latte the old crew would give my sons chocolate but last time I went they didn’t give my sons any, how rude the kids were disappointed. ?

We ordered for an important visit in our facility their catering / pre-set menu for 10-12 people. Our facility would like to commend everyone, especially Ali, the store manager, and his team for making an excellent job. We will definitely order again as they are quite accommodating and easy to deal with.

When asking the cashier which foods were gluten free and contained allergens like dairy, they didn't know and only pointed to the menu. We politely asked the cashier to check with the cook in the back, and after asking two questions about the ingredients, the cook told us to leave and that they wouldn't be answering any questions...unbelievably rude cook in the back.

Don’t come here unless you want to waste timeIt took me 20 minutes to get a coffee and a croissant. There was only 2 other customers and despite that the manager was very rude when I asked when my order would be ready. All that and then they even made my coffee wrong. I was scared to even say anything, lest they take another 20 minutes preparing a new one. Very disappointed with the serviceDo not go to this cafe

I went there for 2 sandwiches (1/2 sandwich for $9, whole sandwich for $14) I asked to have butter on it. I was told first that they don’t put butter on but that I could put it on. No problem. Then they told me they could put it on. Fine. Got them back and they were SLATHERED with butter on the entire OUTSIDE AND THE INSIDE. I asked why it was made like that they said they didn’t know. When I asked another employee if they ever seen a sandwich made like that, he replied I don’t know. The girl behind the counter said very loudly “you don’t need to yell at him”!! I clearly wasn’t even using a raised voice!! This is honestly the WORST place!! Between the very extremely poor customer service, high prices and very poor quality food!! I wouldn’t even send my worst enemy there!! I spent over $31 to get one and a half sandwiches, and two simple coffees for an extremely humiliating experience!! I wish I could put in NEGATIVE STARS!!! ????

I always appreciate the environment at this location's Aroma. The atmosphere, though in a mall, is a bit loud due to the outside, inside is actually quite quiet and I really like the comfortable seating (if you can grab the seats that are the sofa couches). If you come here early enough, there's little to no line up yet so you can order at ease and it's a bit of a wait but if you're not in a rush, it's okay. You can go to your seat and wait until they call you. If you don't order from the menu boards and you want something from the window, in my experience, it's not that long a wait since what you want is right there. Even if you need it warmed up, unless there's orders before you, it gets done fairly quickly I think. This location is 10x better than the downtown Markham location in terms of the staff being 100x nicer than them and that they know how to maintain the business better because their management skills are more detail-focused and goal-oriented. They are serving the cafe not for their paycheque but for the customers and for the quality of food. The food is okay but better than downtown Markham in terms of freshness and temperature. A bonus that DT Markham can't seem to measure up. I always look forward to their drinks because it looks visually appealing and I always anticipate on the little chocolate squares they provide along with the drink everytime. I use it as the sugar replacement and it's honestly such a life hack! :D

My favourite cafe for a good social interaction with a friend. Had a latte and an iced aroma light and it definitely hit the spot.

Ryo is the nicest employee!!!! First of all, I moved to the area from Hamilton in late July, and there weren't any Aroma's around! So I had never tried Aroma! I got the lentil soup and an iced matcha latte, the service was A BIT slow, but I went on a saturday afternoon and they were PACKED! The matcha latte was great and the soup was even better. I cannot recommend Aroma enough. Plus -- Ryo was so incredibly nice!

This is the Markville location. Typical Italian blend coffee which is a basic staple. Compared to many smaller cafes, their coffee does not stand out. Their menu of food is what makes up for it. Disappointed they do not offer Flat White but can offer a latte. The difference between those drinks is pretty much shot/milk frothing technique so I ended up ordering an Americano.Had their warm croissant which reminded me of a small croissanterie in West Village NYC, Claude’s. Very buttery, warming and comforting. You must like heavier/richer croissants. Known for their own baked bread, I asked for toast. Their bread never fails to be awesome. Perfect with butter.Glad they had an outdoor patio if you wanted to be outside.

In late July, Ritual featured a number of businesses offering cold drinks at 25% off their regular price. It sounded great to me. I took a look and saw that this Aroma Espresso Bar was participating. This Aroma is located at CF Markville. It's next door to mall entrance 11 on the right. It has its own entrance that's separate from the mall. On the left is Walmart.I had no problem finding parking in front of Aroma. I had some orders to pick up at other stores in the mall. I placed my ritual order, picked up my other orders, and then headed over here to pick up dinner.I ordered the following items:- Large berry iced tea lemonade (25% off plus an extra $0.50 for upsizing to a large)- Soup and sandwich combo: - Portobello mushroom and hummus sandwich on multigrain bread - Tomato kale soup- Blueberry peach crumbleMy order took fifteen minutes to prepare. It was enough time to visit two stores before picking up dinner at Aroma.I used the mall entrance to head inside Aroma. There's indoor seating. There's also patio seating outside, depending on the weather.I got to the counter and had a nice man helping me out. I said that I had a Ritual order. He handed me a paper bag with my goodies inside. I thanked him and headed to my car with it. I then drove home to eat dinner. The large berry iced tea lemonade was refreshing. It was slightly sweet, with lots of berry and lemon flavours. It was cold and excellent on a hot summer day.I loved my portobello mushroom and hummus sandwich. The multigrain bread was soft and had a nice weight to it. It didn't feel heavy, but it had substance. The grilled portobello was excellent, paired with hummus that was yummy. I loved the sprouts and microgreens in this sandwich, which made me feel like I was eating something healthy. The tomato kale soup was excellent. I loved this soup so much. It was perfectly balanced between the tomatoes and the finely chopped kale. So good! I'd return just for this soup alone.Sadly, the place forgot my dessert. I got Ritual to refund me for my missing blueberry peach crumble. I'll need to return to see if I can still get it or if I need to find another dessert item to enjoy.Despite my missing dessert, the food and beverage were excellent. I'd return for more.(343)
